  1. I've thought about that, too. Which would make me think the park has. I don't know, maybe it's one of those things like a vehicle recall. Does the cost of a lawsuit offset the cost to fix the tunnel? How many other lawsuits would pop up when the first one does? Unfortunately that happens everyday. Monkey see monkey do. And then you've got "oh man, people almost got their hands cut off on The Beast!!" You know how people are, mountains outta molehills. I just really feel that could give the park, which I might add does have a pretty good track record with safety, a black eye on what is for sure one of their signature attractions. I'd hate to see it. Freak. Who will continue to ride The Beast on every visit, sometimes multiple times.
  2. Still think that's gonna be a lawsuit someday. I don't think any of us want to see that.
  3. Mowing the lawn is fun though. ...with an electric or push reel mower, I agree. With a gasoline ROAR, not me. Terp, who last mowed a lawn circa 2008. I'm jealous. Except for about a year when I lived next door to my landlord, who, for reasons I never knew, would not let me cut the grass, I have mowed since I was about 9 years old. Still hate it but the grass still grows. Even ran over a swingset my first time on a riding mower......
  4. Thanks, Terp. I'll have to check it out.
  5. The funny thing about that is, I guess I've never seen a Leap the Dips coaster to compare it to. Seems to me I tried to find some pictures of one, and I know Cedar Point had a few different ones. But I don't remember coming across any good pictures. But, that's been awhile ago. And I do have an old mind.
  6. An endless debate that will never go anywhere. What kind of coaster would you consider it? It doesn't really have a "track" so to speak. More like a guide rail.
  7. I still consider it a gravity propelled dark ride.
  8. There are quite a few Arrows out there quite a bit older than Vortex that are still going strong. As long as folks are riding it, and they are, I don't see it going anywhere.
  9. If there is one person you can trust with what they say around here, it would be the man you quoted. I've learned a lot from that man. He knows his stuff.
  10. I take that back. I played the crap out of the wheel game by Diamondback. Got pretty good at it. Then they changed it. Haven't played it since. I usually gave the coupons out to people(mostly kids) standing around the game.
  11. ^ I think so. Pretty sure. I can say, at KI it has not affected my game playing at all. I can say I don't think I've ever played one.
  12. Here I thought all these years it was the Lollipop Kin. Huh, I'll be darned.
  13. Yea, probably. Hadn't thought about that. They need to be more specific.
  14. I knew I was close. But you get what I was sayin'.
  15. There's probably not a long line at Woodstock Express... There wasn't when we were there for ERT. Oh, wait.
  16. The only way I can see them ever changing anything is if something drastic happened (fire, act of god, etc.) Otherwise, I just can't see them changing a coaster that is one of the main staples of the park. JMO.
  17. Wouldn't that be wrong? Screamin' Demon was installed in '77. I'm thinking it was '83 when they changed to the backwards train on Racer.
  18. Is that big wooden thing still down by Top Gun?
  19. ^ How about how many poor souls you've wasted on the river??
