PkiJake13 replied to The-Snapper's topic in Other Amusement Parks & Industry News
S&S signed something last year at IAAPA I think for a park in Japan to recieve one. -Jake -
^ Oh, come, on, it is pat of the fun to ay what you think might be coming. Please, Jake

^This line of restraunts are opeing up in Japan, that makes them international. -Jake
-
Looks like it as went international, one is opening up at Universal Orlando City Walk. I wonder if Paramount gave them the right to do this. They also don't show us as a location, so we must be an independent one. -Jake http://www.bubbagump.com/

Legend of the Lost: The Director's Cut-Tomb Raider: The Ride Queue Instead of being in TRTR's que, it co0uld be place behind Tomb Raider. -Jake

Be sure to ride Demon Drop, it will be going bye bye after this year, it is for sale. http://italintl.com/detail_page.php?record_id=565 -Jake

I am signed up for the surveys but they haven't sent me the new one about Nick Central. I heard about it on Coasterbuzz.com, does anybody have the link to it? -Jake

Camden Park took out the Thunderbolt Express this year. Also PKI had King Cobra was up for sale on a website that sells used rides, so they must have taken it down so it could be put back up again and operate. If anybody can find that site post it, I will try to find it. -Jake

As does the Nick Celebration Parade, it ends next Sunday, the 14th. -Jake

I was also at Cincinnati Mills, and I also saw it from the road as we drove by. -Jake

Last year our 2004 gold pass did not get us into fearfest. PKI gave free admission to fearfest with our 2005 season pass. We got a heck of a deal on our 2005 passes because we bought them so early. If I am remembering correctly our season passes expired at the end of September so if we wouldn't have bought them we would of had to pay to see fearfest. I got in last year with my 2004 Seson Pass, we went in the middle of october. So they didn't expire in September, they just want you to think that I guess so you will go ahead and my your next years pass. -Jake

I think they should turn around Face/Offs trains, it would be so cool. -Jake
-
How would it mess up after the first swing when it first opened? -Jake
-
There is enough time to put the rides thourgh winter rehab. There would be three months between Winter Fest and Opening Day, Disnney and Universal have been doing three month rehabs for forever. -Jake
-
They should have certain rides open if it is 40 degrees or warmer, Beast, Delirium, Face/Off, Top Gun, Adventure Express, Viking Fury, IJST, Racer, All of the Coney Mall flats, FoF, TRTR, Action FX Theater, and most of Nick Central and Hanna Barbera Land. I would think it would be a little cold to run Drop Zone because of it's height, along with SoB. Though SoB could be the Scrooge of Winter Fest. -Jake
-
I think the reason why none of the Hanna Barbera attractions are open is becuase they will be rethemeing them to Nick Central.Or maybe even the kiddie rides would be cold whil riding. Also the PKI vitual Tour video is up on PKI home page. -Jake

Who Attended the WinterFest Annoucement?
PkiJake13 replied to RailRider's topic in Coming Attractions
What was Jeff saying about Winter Fest? They picked what probably will be the hottest day of the summer to announce a winter event, I think that is funny.. -Jake -
^ I thought there was some mechanics of the train that would have to be changed for it to run backwards. -Jake
-
They have been in that area for awhile now, they had to move them for the parade floats storage. Some were there in May, but now all are over there. -Jake
-
Will the tickets say on the back in the fine print " NO SNOW CHECKS", like no rain checks for regular season tickets? Also I see why FoF will not be open since Coney Mall will be closed. I am still excited that it is here and back. -Jake

So all season pass holders get the discount even though it is only a dollar. -Jake
