  1. Diamondback also sits on land with a higher elevation than Orion does.
  2. If the webcams come back up and the lift hill is completed, I'm going to be ****ed something awful. Just sayin'.
  3. This sucks. That is all, as there are no construction updates. Carry on.
  4. Is the white truck crane in the parking lot even tall enough to reach that high?
  5. They still have another big crane to assemble before they complete the lift hill. There will be two big cranes holding/lifting track and one crane holding the basket of workers.
  6. This - I saw him exiting this area down the access road yesterday I believe?
  7. As the person who originally nominated Artemis as the name, I think it should be Artemis.
  8. If they drop the drop, it's taking out several buildings along with it!
  9. I think all of the boom might be there, but I don't see any of the jib pieces.
  10. Artemis is going to be outside of the webcam at its tallest. It's going to be massive.
  11. Do you mean 2 million pounds? Because 2 million TONS is 4 BILLION pounds, and that sounds off. By comparison, each of the two World Trade Center buildings weighed 500,000 tons. I can't see any single crane being able to lift the weight of EIGHT of those at one time..
  12. My nomination for the big white crane is Artemis. Fits the Greek mythology theme with Orion and Zeus. Also, per Wikipedia: In Greek mythology, Orion (/əˈraɪən/; Ancient Greek: Ὠρίων or Ὠαρίων; Latin: Orion)[1] was a giant huntsman whom Zeus (or perhaps Artemis) placed among the stars as the constellation of Orion.
  13. Someone needs to get photos of Zeus from outside the park!
  14. I don't believe so. I circled his hook in your photo, so he's working on whatever is directly below it.
  15. They did, but did they install another support? I don't see one..
  16. He sure is majestic this morning. Here's to hoping for a big day of progress!
  17. It was continuous for about the 20 minutes that I kept glancing at it. Maybe someone was back there working and they’re done for the night.
  18. Did they install lighting back by the turnaround into the transfer shed area? I don’t remember anything being illuminated back there.
  19. So does anyone else think the backbone goes up tomorrow?
  20. Then like I said, contribute something worth discussing. Otherwise, you can’t complain. Don’t bring forth a problem if you don’t have a solution.
  21. I read something that said that model of crane is about 365 feet tall.
  22. Then contribute something worth discussing.
  23. I'm not sure I saw anyone confirm it, but these pieces stacked here are definitely going to form the roof of the station. There were quite a few of these pieces stacked here.
