  1. We are a participant. An observer does almost everything except going up Griffons evacuated trolley.
  2. Just to keep some laughs going here.
  3. That Rivertown one is fantastic. I wish we had more pics period of the park from the early years.
  4. This is one of my top flats at the park, so I'm very happy to see it back. It's one of the few spinny rides that I can handle. recaR ,sadly, will probably never show its face again at the park.
  5. Guess it sounds like we picked a winner to do!
  6. That is indeed pretty bad. Sorry for your tragic case of the Offseason Blues.
  7. A flyer would be a great fit at Cedar Point, but I think a flyer gives you a more adaptable layout (It can go into more locations) and would be better suited for another location. What that location is I have no idea at the moment. The only place I could guess would be Adventure Island. A dive machine over the Marina Gate would be pretty sweet.
  8. This will be my first formal tour I have ever done so I'm pretty excited. Can't wait to see what it has to offer
  9. Combo would be very cool. Would love to see that . Three train capacity monster to add to the lineup like the other B&Ms in the park.
  10. Hey guys sorry if this isn't in the right forum but I need to ask for opinions. Two friends and myself will be at Busch Gardens in April and we will be doing the roller coaster insider tour. It sounds pretty neat because of the front of the line access, the privilege of going up to the top of Griffon and walking around, and tours of maintenance bays. What I want to know is if anyone here has participated in this tour previously? Did you enjoy it? Worth the money? Any other thoughts or comments about it would be appreciated.
  11. Seeing those hideous dorms come down would be great for the park. However being an employee, I know for a fact that there is not enough off point housing yet. Because during peak employment times both off and on point housing is full.
  12. I second that ^. I have only been on a traveling one once, and I did not feel comfortable or safe in it. So while I don't have any high expectations, apparently park management does at several locations.
  13. When you can't sleep at night anymore because you need to ride a coaster.
  14. I'm sure they have. They wouldn't have an event like this without it. Have to keep a good reputation among all age groups.
  15. It will be interesting to see what rides they have open. I would assume Millie and Rougarou with the big party at the Luminosity stage.
  16. May 29th and June 12th Cedar Point is having a celebration for high school seniors only. Sounds pretty cool. ERT, games, and a party are on the list. Not many other details released yet. Any high school seniors out there might want to take a look. https://www.cedarpoint.com/item/Youth-Programs-9-10-14-29/Grad-Nite?mobile=0
  17. This looks very cool. Can't wait to see this full blown next season in the park.
  18. Can't wait to see the final product of the main entrance/bridge project. Should look very nice.
  19. That clip perfectly illustrates how much we miss our parks in the off-season. Even when KI was just beginning to grow.
  20. I think its future is with us at KI for many years to come, and in its current state (No SIX treatment). I just never see KI getting rid of the ride that made them famous. I vote more than 15 years.
  21. When passing an amusement park on the highway is the highlight of your week.
  22. I was actually able to visit Everland but sadly, Eagle's Fortress was SBNO at the time. I was so upset. 1. Steel Phantom- Kennywood 2. Orient Express- Worlds of Fun 3. Big Bad Wolf- Busch Gardens Williamsburg 4. Drachen Fire- Busch Gardens Williamsburg 5. Shockwave- Six Flags Great America (I did ride this one, but I want it back)
  23. This is flat out awesome!
  24. "Choose your Adventure" was my choice And I chose Cedar Fair mainly because it's when i became attached to the park. I had been there several times when it was under Paramount but I didn't love the park as much as I do now.
  25. Not too shabby
