Nice reminder for me to keep my cool.

They wouldn't let us wait for the front last Sunday. So my only time was in the back. Can't wait to try the front. Going back up this Wednesday.

At CP on Sunday, plenty of people smoking outside designated areas, plus some idiot smoking something else in one of the men's rooms. My biggest pet peeve after line jumping. Both it seems I just have to accept if I'm going to go to parks because it will probably never change. I really want to find a sense of zen about it all. Having a difficult time in that endeavor.

I always kind of feel bad for the FLaners on May weekdays.

I've only used Fast Lane once...at CP when PP holders got a free FL+ last year for renewal. Used it on Labor Day weekend. Had a blast, but I would never pay for it. I live close enough to choose to go when crowds aren't as big of an issue.

I'll let someone else chime in on how well Cedar Fair is doing financially these days. I have no problem with Fast Lane if it's handled properly; i.e. not being used during Early Entry and non-wristband possessing individuals failing to be stopped at the point of entry and then using the empty Fast Lane to line jump.

I emailed the park Tuesday morning with my "concerns." Haven't heard anything.

I rode it multiple times. Can't remember if it was better than the new Bat or not.

I was quite thrilled to hear "now you will pay" again. Don't think it worked on any of my visits last year. Overall, I was happy with Boo Blasters and Adventure Express on Sunday. Seemed to me lots of stuff was working that hadn't been.

^^I think this topic was/is definitely worth discussing. It's good to get multiple points of view on the issue, plus there's nothing wrong with venting. I've never sent a comment to KI, but I am today over the handling of the Fast Lane que. Perhaps it was just new employees learning the ropes, and it may not make a bit of difference, but at least I will get the satisfaction of taking action instead of just steaming about it. As my first comment on this post explained, there was another FL incident I witnessed later in the day as well.

Agreed. ERT was pointless this morning. Fast Lane was being let through as well. Don't know if that's common practice at KI during early entry, it's not at CP. Later in the the day, 3 individuals walked in the DB Fast Lane, obviously were not stopped at the point of entry, were turned away at the station, then PAID someone to let them cut at the bottom of the the stairs. Unbelievable. I have mixed feelings about about today's visit.

I think Firehawk is a lot of fun. I always ride it if the wait isn't too long.

Good comments. I've been hoping for years for something more interesting to come to my home park, only to be disappointed. At least Valravn is preferable to most of what the other CF parks are getting next year. Yes, I miss Earthquake, Pirate Ride, Fun House, Western Cruise, etc. I realize things have to change, but I wish they would get modern rides that would replace what was lost with the removal of those attractions. Beginning to think it's not going to happen.

Against my better judgement, but based on the urging of a friend I made the 2 hour drive CLP yesterday. The only other time I've been there was over 3 years ago. The Blue Streak was not running so I didn't get the credit. My buddy has been advising me to ride it ever since then. I was always apprehensive about going back, but decided to. So I get there and the Blue Streak is not running for the day, of course. So I do my best to gather my thoughts, and rode the Devil's Den 6 times and Tumble Bug once. The place is just pitiful. From the warped sounding carousel music, to being out of funnel cakes, rides not running, cigarette butts littering the ground, the gift shop not accepting credit cards and making customers walk out to the ticket booth to pay for their items, and then come back, as well as no soap in the women's restroom, the pitifully sparse looking midway games...etc...etc..etc. I'm surprised there was as many people as there was in attendance yesterday. Just needed to vent, no one to blame but myself for going back up there.

Forgive me if this is a dumb question, but are "securred" loose items still considered loose? For example buttoned up in cargo shorts? I've ridden this coaster. Another fun B&M invert.
