  1. Entire room. Never hurts to double check though.
  2. Look at the "places to stay" link on the CP website. Breakers Express would be reasonable during the week since there are so many of you splitting the cost. Benefits include Single day tickets at $39 or 2 day with free Soak City $76. Plus importantly, Early Entry which would allow you to knock out rides on MF and Maverick, then give you time to get in line for Dragster before park opens. After that, it should be easy to get everything else in. May have to wait till the evening for shorter Gatekeeper, Raptor and Rougarou lines though. It's doable in a day, but two days would be more fun, of course.
  3. Firehawk? Used to be X-Flight.
  4. On-season too, since I can't take the whole summer off like I want to.
  5. ...when I can't concentrate at work because I'm jonesing to be at a park.
  6. I'll be at Carowinds for the first time Wednesday August 5th from 4-10pm and then the following morning for ERT and a few more hours. I don't need a ton of rides, but should I consider Fast Lane+ to get everything in? Thanks for any comments/opinions in advance.
  7. The other 3 Sally Ghost Blasters type rides I've been on have laser sighting. I wonder why KI's doesn't?
  8. I have the opposite opinion of most everyone here. I like dark rides fast, loud and spooky. Have no interest in something like Peanuts. Just my opinion and preference; to each his/her own.
  9. Interesting. What would be the best in Ohio, in your opininion?
  10. Meanstreak in the front. Hardly ever visit CP without a spin. Don't think I have a coaster like that at KI. I usually will ride Vortex for some ancient Arrow fun, but there is a price to pay.
  11. Definitely looking forward to getting one (or two) these new rides here in Ohio.
  12. I've only ridden Hurler once. I didn't think it was that bad for a credit grab. I'm definitely in the minority on that, I'm well aware.
  13. That video is hilarious!! I wonder how the lines get so long when people can't get to it???
  14. Last year, I was talking to a nice family, and the man told me with a straight face that he was there on the day when the people got killed on The Bat back in the early 80s. I didn't say anything.
  15. Boy, debating whether or not it's worth the 2 hour drive to get a another ride on Devil's Den. Tempting.
  16. More than roller coasters. Has one of my old favorite flat rides...Kangaroo. Other interesting historical rides are Noah's Ark and Auto Race. Although, NA doesn't have the flood room in operation anymore. I'm in the minority but I love Ghostwood Estate too.
  17. Was going to leave for CP about a half hour ago. Looks like tstorm activity is moving in on the radar though.
  18. I rode it last night. I agree that it seems fast. It was indeed fun, but I hope I can learn to minimize the head banging I experienced.
