FOFirehawkFAN
Does anyone else find that a blue train on SOB looks very out of place? Is this going to be the trains official color?
PKIVortex
You know I bet they decided to go with a blue train, just because the station is blue and red. I totally forgot that the station was painted blue. That's my thought.
Cory Butcher
I love the look and coloring of the blue train, I have stated that many a time!
The Interpreter
And that train is blue. Whether or not that is its "official color" is for someone other than me to figure out!

Jamesv7
The red and blue trains are the original colors of hurricane.
coastergirl
I really like the blue on the train. It's a whole new start for SOB this year so why not have new train colors too.
The Interpreter
The red and blue trains are the original colors of hurricane. But a totally different red and blue...and a lot of white... FOFirehawkFAN
I honestly have decided I do like the blue train, now that I have seen it up close with the 2 shades of blue and the SOB logo it actually looks really cool in the station. PKIVortex
The blue train isn't as bad I as I thought it would look. But like I said before, it makes perfect sense now, that I remembered the station is blue and red.
padfoot714
I think I would have preferred red or yelow prior to riding it yesterday but after I saw it in action and in the station I decided I like the blue.
thomas
Yeah the blue looks great....when its stuck on the lift hill. I rode in the back seat of the blue car on saturday night and it was a nightmare. Luckly, I wasn't on it when it got stuck.

They just couldn't let them off because there is not a way to release the buzz bars if I'm correct.
PKIVortex
All of KI's roller coasters have a manual release for the bars. The Beast and Racer use nails. The new SOB trains have a pedal on the back of each car, similar to the old trains. Vortex/Top Gun have foot pedals on the side of each car. AE has pedals as well on each car. So yes they are a way they can release the bars if they need to.
thomas
Well then I wonder why they didn't just start letting people off since they were not very far up the lift instead of leaving them in the sun.
The Interpreter
Well then I wonder why they didn't just start letting people off since they were not very far up the lift instead of leaving them in the sun. Whenever possible, it is best NOT to evacuate guests when they would have to climb up or down stairs or ladders. They are more apt to suffer injury from the evacuation effort than leaving them where they are until they can safely be evacuated without climbing. thomas
I'd be madder then a fire ant if they left me on the ride and didn't bring me some fluids or something.
