July 5, 200719 yr Does anyone else find that a blue train on SOB looks very out of place? Is this going to be the trains official color?
July 7, 200719 yr You know I bet they decided to go with a blue train, just because the station is blue and red. I totally forgot that the station was painted blue. That's my thought.
July 7, 200719 yr And that train is blue. Whether or not that is its "official color" is for someone other than me to figure out!

July 7, 200719 yr I really like the blue on the train. It's a whole new start for SOB this year so why not have new train colors too.
July 8, 200719 yr The red and blue trains are the original colors of hurricane. But a totally different red and blue...and a lot of white... The blue train on Hurricane: http://www.rcdb.com/ig595.htm?picture=11
July 8, 200719 yr The new trains all look out of place pn SOB they are kind of old style trains on a kind of crash test sort of theming on SOB
July 8, 200719 yr Author I honestly have decided I do like the blue train, now that I have seen it up close with the 2 shades of blue and the SOB logo it actually looks really cool in the station.
July 8, 200719 yr The blue train isn't as bad I as I thought it would look. But like I said before, it makes perfect sense now, that I remembered the station is blue and red.
July 8, 200719 yr I think I would have preferred red or yelow prior to riding it yesterday but after I saw it in action and in the station I decided I like the blue.
July 9, 200719 yr Yeah the blue looks great....when its stuck on the lift hill. I rode in the back seat of the blue car on saturday night and it was a nightmare. Luckly, I wasn't on it when it got stuck.
July 9, 200719 yr heh, i want to get stuck on a ride... i think it would be a fun experience... like for a long time, not just a stop to get the trains in sequence... maybe im jsut wierd, bbut i kinda pray i get stuckas im goin up big rolercoasters... i want to get stuck!

July 9, 200719 yr heh, on a more serious note, anyone know what time the Son of Beast has been opening the last few days? it started at around 1:45 every day for the first few, but id hope it opens earlier... i wanna ride it first thing...

I hope I'm not on your car then. Yeah same here. Exspecially not on a hot day. Just think, you would have to sit in the car until the ride was working again and then finish the ride. They just couldn't let them off because there is not a way to release the buzz bars if I'm correct.
July 9, 200719 yr All of KI's roller coasters have a manual release for the bars. The Beast and Racer use nails. The new SOB trains have a pedal on the back of each car, similar to the old trains. Vortex/Top Gun have foot pedals on the side of each car. AE has pedals as well on each car. So yes they are a way they can release the bars if they need to.
July 9, 200719 yr Well then I wonder why they didn't just start letting people off since they were not very far up the lift instead of leaving them in the sun.
July 9, 200719 yr Well then I wonder why they didn't just start letting people off since they were not very far up the lift instead of leaving them in the sun. Whenever possible, it is best NOT to evacuate guests when they would have to climb up or down stairs or ladders. They are more apt to suffer injury from the evacuation effort than leaving them where they are until they can safely be evacuated without climbing.
July 9, 200719 yr I'd be madder then a fire ant if they left me on the ride and didn't bring me some fluids or something.
