After an incident, amusement operators MUST talk to tell what they do to try to ensure their park is safe. Craig Ross did it at Kings Island and Angel Aristone is doing the same for Great Adventure. May I remind you a thin cable was found on Drop Zone at Carowinds, a Cedar Fair park? When it comes to safety, parks work together; they do NOT compete. After last year's Son of Beast incident, for instance, a lot of cooperation and collaboration took place throughout the industry. How did this happen? More importantly, what can be done to prevent similar incidents? The same after the Superman: Tower of Power incident at Kentucky Kingdom. Parks want to be safe. They try hard to be. Accidents do happen, but MOST can be prevented. Yes, Six Flags should be talking. An accident anywhere reflects badly on the ENTIRE industry. Quote

I think that's absolutely why they do that. Probably their marketing strategy is to allow all of the parks to prove the product themselves. Quote
