I was looking at Halloween Haunt's web page and i saw that Son of Beast and Firehawk would be open during Fearfest! I mean Halloween Haunt [i hate the new name] and if you look at the pics it has an update pic of SOB. One last thing... Tomb Raider will not be open during Halloween Haunt

hmm it would be cool if they used the que area of tomb raider for a haunted house. Perhaps maybe they should even just take TR TR out of the building all together and put it on flight commanders old pad.

I really don't think the Flight Commander pad is suitable for the weight or size of TR:TR. They could do some work with the land they have around it though.

hmm i dont think they should scrap the ride all together.... but if they arent going to keep up the theming they should make it an outdoor ride. IMHO Kings Island is in need of some flat rides so no reason to get rid of one. Plus I'm not sure how easily it could be done... but if it were moved outside of course then the current program wouldnt work as well.... could they just reprogram it to a different cycle?

Back on topic however I do think if TR TR is not going to be operating for Halloween Haunt the que area just screams to me haunted house.

Has anyone seen that on the official HH site they have a section labled escape route? It's like a park map for the event. The map doesn't include NU or BB as might be expected, but it also omits SOB and Firehawk. Anyone have any idea why this is?

...most likely because that map is from 2006, when Son of Beast was closed and Firehawk lived another life as X-Flight up north. They are both listed under thrill rides on that same page for Halloween Haunt.

I hope that isn't the map they plan on handing out.

I doubt it will be, they probably just changed the name on the 2006 Fearfest map just to put it up there.

Up untill my visit yesterday they STILL were advertising Fearfest on the park maps
