cstrwomann
Voodoo has been put on Dorney Park web site. It is the former Steel Venom/Superman from GL.

flightoffear1996
I rode Wicked Twister up at Cedar Point and I think they are okay if your only going to ride them a few times but after awhile say maybe 5 or 6 rides it really loses its punch. teenageninja
I disagree. Wicked Twister is still great, the launch is just as intense, and it offers two unique experiences in the front and back. Voodoo/Superman:Ultimate Escape/Steel Venom is unique because of the holding break. Ride in the front seat on the ride when the holding break is working and tell me it isn't the scariest thing you've done in an amusement park, besides maybe Deja Vu. Dvo
I wouldn't say that it's "scary." I'd use the word thrilling. It is really neat looking straight down at the ground. But I also like the back seat with the holding brake, because you go SO high. That's pretty scary. Still nothing scares me more than drop rides.. Just the thought that the only thing keeping you from falling 300 feet is an 8" thick plastic seat. Yikes. That's why I love em though
DiSab
At least they're going to keep the holding brake on the back spike. I think I'm gonna got to Dorney next season. I wanted to go there this year, but that didn't happen. Hopefully I'll get there next year.
The Interpreter
To me, Superman: Ultimate Escape later known as Steel Venom soon to be known as Voodoo was ALWAYS far more impressive than Wicked Twister. The only reason WT has those twists was so as not to duplicate the Six Flags Ohio ride. . . The holding brake and the spikes are far more effective than were/are the twists. Just my opinion. . . Note, too; that no other rides with the twists on each end like Wicked Twister were ever built.
Beast1979
That does make it uniuque, but it doesn't compare to the holding brakes on the Spike. It is amazing in the front seat. Dorney Park will have a lot of fun with it.
King Maple The Tree King
http://www.dorneypark.com/public/inside_pa...ides/voodoo.cfm Thanks for posting the link since the original poster is too stupid to.
KIBeast
^Wow! That was uncalled for. I really like the name Voodoo. Maybe CF is finally going to start thinking of original names again instead of using the same ones in different parks.
