sk8ordie19
During the weekends, are there any scare actors around or at the gates of the park before 5:00 pm, I want to know because i'm taking my 6 and 7 year old cousins this saturday, and I need to know how scary it is. thanks
Dane
No. 5:00 is when the park starts to turn scary and starts to warn people its coming. The live Monsters don't come out until 6:45ish.
travthescumbag
I went to Halloween Haunt last Saturday. Great time, as usual. The park was very crowded, and the lines for all of the Haunts were waaaay too long. Much longer than the night I went last year. I got in line for Manor Masscre before 7, so got through it pretty quickly. After that, I got in line for the Trail of Terror and was through that shortly after 8. Besides those, I only did 2 of the Fear Zones: Cornstalkers and one other one...I don't remmeber anything about the other one, but know I did it. Overrall, it was a lot better than last year, but there were too many people to fully enjoy it. Still, I'll go back next year.
flightoffear1996
Really I think they just need to find away to up the capcity of these things or instead having 10 smaller ones maybe have 2 or 3 larger ones that are like 45 minutes long like the USS nightmare or something and maybe charge like $20 or so to get in the park. Shman
You can't "up" the capacity of these attractions. At least, not the ones located inside of buildings. All the buildings have maximum capacity ratings set by fire codes which they can not go over. Now...on the other hand, they could up capacity on the outdoor attractions.....but then everyone would wine about the constant "conga-line"
flightoffear1996
The conga line really does dull the attraction but maybe they could send the groups in more often.
XGatorHead 8904
^ Sending groups in more often would work perfectly if only every group went through the attraction at the same rate of speed. However, this is definitely not the case. You get groups that just crawl along because they are scared of what lies ahead, and then you get groups that practically run through each maze. When the runners catch up to the crawlers, you get a conga line. This seems to ALWAYS happen to me. I'm going to HH for the first time tonight (I haven't been to FF since 2004) and am very interested to see the changes that have been made! Da Wolverine
I went tonight and the best attraction I thought was the cementary. I got a good scare and had fun when someone asked me were I was going and I kept on walking. If you do this my group got out numbered and surrounded. What were your thoughts on this attraction??? LongLiveTheSmurfRide
My only problem with their "fear zones" is that they seem to be that same thing as a haunted house or trail at KI. My idea of a fear zone, especially since it was Cedar Fair/Cedar Point that defined scare zone for me, is an area that you just walk through and people are everywhere to scare you. But it's not an area you wait in line for. It's just an area everyone walks through all the time. I love Cedar Point's scare zones because of that. If you want to go somewhere where people are there to scare you, but you don't want to wait in line for a house; you go to a scare zone. Granted, this year the whole park is like a scare zone since the people are everywhere and able to scare you at any time. But then, why have areas called "Fear Zones" in the park when they really are no different than the Trail of Terror in the way that they're executed where only a small group of people are allowed through at a time? The only problem with that though is the safety issue becuz the way it is ppl are constantly trying to go through the exit, and with some of the set ups (ie crates and tursn in corstalkers, the cars and barrels in work site) and all the fog, ppl don't tend to listen, and that would be nice, except a lot of times the scareactors can time their scares and "blend back in" before enother group comes. I really think its more a security risk than anything.

If not, are you going to? Curious Terpy
