I was going to say that in the first pic, I don't see any de-construction going on.

The ride stil lmaybe on it way out for removal. The ride is pretty tall and maybe they are going to start removing the hill last/

^Exactly. The first pic was taken well before 2008 and the 2nd only shows the very top.

^I thought the link to the pic was supposed to prove it is being de-constructed. It's only in writing that states it's being taken down in early 2008.

Hypersonic is no longer listed on the list of rides at KD. Check the webstie.

I have already seen that. It only seems to prove that it won't open next season. And, maybe it will be taken down, I'm not saying it won't. I'm only pointing out the fact that the linked pic does not show any de-construction, only words that say so. I would like to have given it one spin before it's gone, just to say I did. Oh well....a better coaster is coming to Kings Dominion anyway.

Speaking of which, While I was there I saw that all the Dominator Pics were taken at GL, yet they do not say anything about the fact that Dominator was from GL in the first place!

KI had to address it because the local news media picked up on online KI fan sites that said it was from GL.

Unless the news media starts exploring the fact that the coaster is not "brand new" the park will have no need to let people know.

Actually, I am surprised at how little promotion KD is doing for the ride. It's almost like they are keeping in mums on purpose. That tells me that they are aware of a very late opening. Judging by the slooooow construction, perhaps that's the case.

Well I'm sure they'll begin advertising for it soon enough,from what I hear vertical construction should begin by early february & right now they're busy trying to finish as much as they can on the station first.

As for HSXLC I'm not upset to see it go...not in the least,now if only they'll take out that piece of firewood known as Hurler while they're at it.
