January 15, 200818 yr Glad to see something coming to SFKK. I wonder how long it will be till they add something to the dry side of the park.
January 15, 200818 yr Author What kind of name is Mega Wedgie? ...“You’ll have to ride it to find out,” McLean said when asked why the ride’s name refers to a childish prank involving underwear. “Wear your bathing suit,” she added.... http://www.courier-journal.com/apps/pbcs.d...S/80115010/1003
January 15, 200818 yr Weired name... maybe ill go this summer, mostly just to ride Chang and Deluge but Mega Wedgie sounds good.
January 15, 200818 yr great news i'm glad they got this. My 38.00 season pass to all the parks was a great deal, definitely will go to Louisville, this slide though is kind of like the one at Great wolf Kings Island???
January 16, 200818 yr Sweet I thought there water park was missing something maybe this will make it more complete.
January 16, 200818 yr Sounds like a nice addition. This now means that all the parks in the KI marketing region are getting new rides this year. CP (Planet Snoopy) IB (Steel Hawg) HW (2 new rides) SFKK (water slide) Columbus Zoo (new water park and ride park) Lets hope KI still surprises us? This gives those other KI markets, Indy, Columbus, Lexington, Louisville, etc... the option of going to these other parks in 2008 and having new ride experiences.
January 16, 200818 yr ^If a good park was solely built on rides, you would not have Busch Gardens, Universal or even Disney; Parks all built on quality family experiences from food and beverage and hospitality all the way up through quality shows and rides. Rides may make most of us on here happy, but there are so many more demographics out there that appreciate a more well rounded experience. Me being one of them. I just hope Kings Island keeps building on what makes them so great in '08!

January 16, 200818 yr Sounds cool and it looks like they really are trying to build the park up. I hope KI just gets a nice place to eat and some general TLC around the park.

I just hope CF understands the formula that you just described. Quality food (and pricing), quality shows (I'll take Dollywood or Busch level as quality), landscaping, theming, etc... I hope this year brings all these things and more. But, if they don't deliver this type of improved experience and no new rides as well, then they may find many of the people in their market area attending other parks this year.
