goofywdw
^Ohhhh ok. They did look so much better with them. I wish Kingda Ka did something cool with their trains except some cool color schemes but hey, that's Six Flags for ya.
canobiecrazy
I heard that Flight Deck is actually The Bat, but they repainted it and renamed it to make it appear safe. I mean come on! Its not even in the same area!

The Interpreter
But...if the leap year is not evenly divisible by the factor 400, the rotation is skipped. Just as a point of information, 2000 was evenly divisible by 400, so rotation was not skipped.
TheCryptRaider
I had a friend who came with me to Kings Island once, and she insisted that the Son of Beast was built before The Beast. I was like getting SO frustrated when I tried to tell her I REMEMBERED when they were BUILDING the Son of Beast.
Tomkatt7
I wonder how long it will be before people start insisting that top Gun, Face/Off, and Tomb Raider were so dangerous that they were torn down and replaced with Flight Deck, Invertigo, and The Crypt???? Among others.
Coney Islander
I heard that when they were building the lift hill for Son of Beast a tornado ran through it and they had to rebuild it. I also heard when KI removed their Tumble Bug and Rotor, both disappeared and were never seen again.

XGatorHead 8904
I heard that when they were building the lift hill for Son of Beast a tornado ran through it and they had to rebuild it. Actually, strong winds did knock down part of SoB during construction, and that section had to be rebuilt. But there was no tornado. The Interpreter
It was all over the local news. Then again, it was nearly nine years ago! KIBOB
I have heard quite a couple of times that the reason why The Bat was closed years ago was because multiple people were slung out and died. Even though i wasnt alive at the time, i know that the short life of the ride was mostly downtime.
The Interpreter
Well, that and the extremely high cost of keeping it operational.
TheCryptRaider
I heard they were tearing down their newfangled rolly-coaster contraption? Heh, actually somebody said they saw somebody get their hands chopped of because they had their hands up during The Beast's helix. Also, somebody said that the sirens for the tube lift on Tazmanian Typhoon was to warn that it was dangerous (this was some little kid who was scared). CoasterStreak
I heard someone once say that the netting on the turnaround of The Vortex (after the first drop) was put into place after one of the trains "fell off" and landed in La Rosa's So the two people that were talking about this jumped when the train came around, and they ran across the pathway screaming. It gave me a good laugh

TheCryptRaider
why are there sirens on TT? are they Torndo Sirens? No they just sort of beep when the tube lift starts.
The Interpreter
Lift hill warning sirens/horns are there to alert any personnel who may be in the area that the device is about to start, so they can get out of the way. Sadly, at least some Canadian geese don't seen to heed such warnings, as Fabio can attest.
