Questions about rides?

I have been reading a couple of the posts here, and had a couple of questions. Our company is having there picnic there this weekend (October 2nd). I have seen people say that the Son of Beast has only a lap bar now, is this true. Unless I am mistaken I thought last year it had a over the shoulder. Another one I saw something about was the Flight of Fear, pretty much the same thing. Have these 2 rides changed since last year? If so does it help make the SoB, and FoF easier on your body, my wife is only 5'0" tall and it banged her around pretty bad last year.

SOB has always had a lapbar and FoF has the past 2 or 3 years. Don't worry about your wife being short - taller people suffer more in roller coasters. However, to avoid a beating on SOB, choose the middle car because the front and back cards insulate you from G forces.

Have a great day!

I just wish someone would write a handy, affordable, pocket-sized unofficial book about Paramount's Kings Island so people don't just walk into the park without knowing anything.

Sorry it took me so long, we had a great time at Kings Island. We did not do any of the haunted houses though the lines were just way to long. We got to ride SOB, DZ, and Delirium for the first time. I would have to say Delirium was more fun than I expected it to be. DZ was probably my favorite ride of the day (our first ride we didn, and SOB was fun but it beat us up pretty bad. Oh yea this was also my first ride on FOF and it was one of the better rides we rode that day also. The day went well, we did not have to wait long to ride anything, I think 35 minutes was our longest wait except for FaceOff which took about an hour. Think we rode DZ 4-5 times, Delirium about 3-4 time, SOB 2 times, and Beast once. We was going to ride The Beast one more time at night time but the lines got longer as the night progressed. There was a special that day for the Xtreme Skyflyer and we got to ride it for $10 a person.
