I guess we were all wrong after all... they were installing some "charming" grass to eliminate the path from tower to IJ

Im curious why they didn't put a little "new expansion in 2009" graphic where the installation of the "charming" grass is...

Might drum up a little curiosity among park guests... (thinks back to tomb raider and ij displays at the park gate)

Honestly, though, if this major 'attraction' is for 2009, then I'm starting to wonder if they're just waiting to redesign the map when they have that 'something major' to incorporate. 2 birds with 1 stone kinda thing. KD and Wonderland both got major new rides this year, and they got new maps. KI, GA, and Carowinds didn't get anything 'major', so they didn't see a redesign. Just my theory now that I've thought about it a bit.

Wow I think this is the first time in a long time that the map has been posted before the park has opened.

1. Face/Off Now Invertigo

2. Top Gun now Flight Deck

3. Son of Beast has new Blue + Red trains

4. Drop Zone now Drop Tower

5. Days of Thunder now Thunder Alley

6. Italian Job Stunt Track now Backlot Stunt Coaster

7. Tomb Raider the Ride now the Crypt

8. "New for 2007-Firehawk" thing is now "Thank You" thing

9. Swan Lake is Green

10. Path between BLSC and the land formally known as Swan Lake is Green

I don't see why they would advertise the new 2009 coaster, then again I don't see why they shouldn't!

Im so happy they didn't use the CF style maps! And maybe it'll advertise the 09 coaster on the broschure. I think it would be cool if over Swan Lake it said "come back in 2009 to see what this will be" or something kinda like Delirium.

The map being posted really has me excited for this year. I cant wait to see what they have done to the crypt hopefully they added something new to it and not just empty rooms haha

I think its funny that the path that was removed is thick (path that was there) and goes to a VERY small building. the path ends where the small smoothie shop is located. BTW is that going to open at all because i never see it open.

That green patch that is where Swan Lake used to be (according to the new map) should be all brown according to rumors and some posted pictures. If the rumors are correct then I don’t think we’ll see much green in that area at all

Also just for pun, “in an effort to be consistent with other Cedar Fair parks” shouldn’t all the Cedar Fair parks have the same style maps?

I hope we dont go to Cedar Point like maps i think they look so thrown together and not artistic like KI's. But if you look at Firehawk you can definately tell Cedar Fair did that.

I wonder if that path is closed temporarily or if it's destroyed completely and permanently to make room for whatever is going there... I really hope not.

That would suck if it is closed all the time because that is the shortest route to The Beast.

2 things you missed, Both sides of racer are going forwards and it doesn't show any height requirements. Which I don't get because most parents would want to know that.
