A Disney VIP treatment is $125 to $150 per hour with a six hour minimum. I'm sure most parks offer some type of VIP experience for famous people. They would almost have to so that the guest does not get mobbed all day. Just 3 years ago Lebron James (who I would not consider mediocre) did a VIP experience of Cedar Point with his entourage. It was amazing the amount of people it drew in. I'm not really sure what advantage a park would have buy paying for a celebrity to come to the park. The celebrites don't want their presence known because they just want to have a fun day at the park. Advertisments can be filmed before the park opens, although I cannot think of many celebrity advertisments that were actually filmed at a park.
