Browntggrr
Perhaps it is just me, but, spring has really been colder than usual. In the spring, I usually have to mow my lawn about every 5 days. So far this year, I have only mowed my lawn 3 times. Being that I live on the shores of Lake Erie, the lake affects the weather here a great deal. I just wanted to know if the Cincy area (as well as other areas down South) has been colder, or is it about the norm. If it has been colder than usual, combined with high gas prices, could have a negative effect on the park from an attendance standpoint. flightoffear1996
Its been cooler down here with lots of rain. The weather now is usually the weather we get in April.
Thrill_Biscuit
I live right in Mason, and I've noticed that this spring has had more cooler and/or rainy days that in recent years. I think you're right about the effect of the rising gas prices. People are pawning stuff just to pay for gas to and from work, much less for a leisure trip to an amusement park. flightoffear1996
Gas prices are killer for me. It cost me almost $100 to fill my car up and at 9MPG that aint cool.
Browntggrr
^ 9 mpg? Holy cow! I get better than that in my SUV. What kind of car do you have?!?

WooferBearATL
Horrible so far. Much cooler than normal and far more storms than I've seen in years. And, it's not even hurricane season!
indianapolisman
It's also been very hard on the HVAC industry. Since new homes have come to a stop ,and the rising cost of metal eveyones cutting loose ends. The slow season usally only lasts from March through April , but this year has continued all the way through may. God Bless our loyal cutomers. Reminds me of when I used to live in the Cleveland area.

DA RIPPER
So much for Global warming, where 10 inches above normal on rain fall. Me and 15 friends are still going to BB tomorrow. The Flowriders open, The weather doesn't matter
Browntggrr
WHOO HOOO! Today is the second strait day of temps in the 80's in Erie! I actually turned on my AC in the house! It may be premature, but I think summer '08 is finally here!

kicpfan
It was cooler, then it got extremely hot and humid. Fortunately, BB is included in admission so I splashed on by there But with the higher gas prices, the attendence has been higher because people are staying close to Cincy this year.
