italianchef
Today I went to PKi with Ryan (Boddah) and his friend Becky. We got there early and rode FoF, TG and SOB. Then we met up with the group at 12 PM - Dane, Adam, Christy, Jeff, Bill, Nathan, Jeff and if I forgot anyone I apologize. We went to Delirium, the Eiffel Tower (where we had the pleasure of seeing PKI Diana), AE, the forwards Racer, Zephyr, Dodgem, Kings Island & Miami Valley Railroad & The Wild Thornberrry's River Adventure (very stupid move in November). Lunch was at Mandarin Cuisine. We froze, but waited to ride the last BEAST coaster ride of the season. Have a great day! TheKlockster
Riding Wild Thorberries in Novermber was kind of dumb. But it was fun, and hilarious. I am still cold, and my legs are just now getting the feeling back in them! Adam
ZosoBeast
Yes, I had a BLAST with you guys today! Highlights: Messing with the ride op on the way up the tower. The video is classic! Doing the YMCA on AE Taste Great/Less Filling on Delirium "Dane, your ***** are on fire!!" "I love The Beast" chant on Racer. Never laughed so hard on a roller coaster in all my life! Slingshot with Dane complete with (cough cough) video Bon fire waiting in line for final ride on Beast "Dont let him in the circle" A new drinking game invented "Final" ride of The Beast. PERFECT weather for a perfect weekend! Looking forward to April 8th, 2005!
BoddaH1994
Of course, there was always the "highschool" game that Dirty Steve and I played. We more or less took turns hitting eachother with chopsticks from Manderine. We invented the game during highschool. We'd take turns hitting ourselves with text books during our not-so-well-organized sociology class. Wild Thornberry's was a blast! We got myself, Dirty Steve, Dane, Klockster, and Becky all into one flume. Every time we made a turn in deep water, the thing came inches from flipping over entirely. The "nnneeeeaaaahhhhh! I like The Beast!" was the theme of this last day. Last time it was the "Arrow Tradition" that M@ilman and I created. There's kind of an inside joke about it, but we kept saying it all day, and even kind of overdid it in the elevator, driving PKI_Diana nuts! (Sorry Di!) Another funny thing that happened was when Jeff Siebert came up to us and somehow worked it in that he had never heard of PKICentral, he had only heard of PKIUnlimited. He was giving us an opportunity to gloat the fact that we had purchased PKIU, and that's exactly what we did. lol
PKI_Diana
Well the last day of the season can be summed up in about one word: BITTERSWEET! Was an okay work day, got everything I needed done accomplished. As far as after: Great sales Good weather, a tad chilly GREAT company. Rode the last ride of The Beast with everyone (Adam, Dane, Ryan, Bill, Karen, James, Charles and like 500 other people I can't name!) Good time had by all! Had meetings, then was left at the park, because my ride forgot me...but it was okay in the end. I got home, a lil late, but home nonetheless. HERE'S TO THE NEW SEASON: ANTICIPATION!! DeliriumDreamer
GRRRR... you guys missed me everywhere I went. When you were at Delirium, I was on break. When you were at Slingshot, I was at Delirium. But, I did catch you guys walking around with your 'save the flyers' buttons. I waved while I was at SS- in case anyone saw me. I know Jeff did. TheKlockster
I saw you! I was talking to Jeff, and he said "Ooh, there's DeliriumDreamer!" Then he walked over and talked to you for a minute. Thats when Dane and Bill bought their ticket for Slingshot I think. We were on our way to The Racer!
PKI_Diana
Dude I so wanted to go on that thing, but no one offered to go with me No one has ever offered too. I guess there's next season!
PKIDelirium
SlingShot? heck, I'll take you on it April 8 I was unable to make the noon meetup, then never got around to calling Dane to catch up. I didn't see any of you until 7PM waiting for The Beast last ride. (Oh yeah, PKI_man aka coney_man with the beanie hat on was hilarious )
DeliriumDreamer
I think one of my co-workers saw you in line for Delirium. Also, I saw someone with a 'flyers addicts' sweater on with a pic of one of the scooters on it. Who was that? was this someone here?
LongLiveBEAST
Yeah you must have the wrong PKI_Man PKIDelirium because he is not funny, he's quite annoying
PKIDelirium
Oh? What is your name.....
TheKlockster
I don't know who that was with the Flyers sweatshirt on. They walked by the group after we got off SOB, and one of them told me that it was a little late to be wearing a "Save the Flyers" button. I said "You're wearing a Flyers shirt!", to which he replied, "Yeah, but I'm in THE CLUB". Don't know what that meant, but Ryan gave them his last Save the Flyers button. It may be late, but I'm keeping mine!
BoddaH1994
They started a Flyers addicts club, we have kind of befriended them.

ZosoBeast
Save the flyer buttons? It's not happening. Are you kidding me? I had my button on! I had my T-Shirt on! I thought for sure that would save them! Glad you cleared that up for everyone! Thanks! I am sure everyone on this board knows that the flyers are long gone! The wearing of t-shirts/buttons was done for fun only.
BoddaH1994
Save the flyer buttons? It's not happening. Clearly we have a brilliant one on our hands.
TheKlockster
Are those bound copies of the Flyer Tribute book going to be available for sale anytime soon? I would really like one.
DeliriumDreamer
How many other people had their t-shirt and button on? Someone in my crew spotted someone with both the t-shirt and button, but I obviously wasn't there. Did anyone else take pics on the last day? Italian Chef :chef: Charles, you are leaving the Bobsled Team! I'm shocked! Every Bobsled team needs a Chef and a Chaplain, and you kind of hit both birds with one stone! j/k But you have to admit - it was pretty darn funny.
