June 26, 200818 yr *EDIT* Sorry I meant to put 6/25... Northern Warren Ohio was under a Thunder Storm watch tonight till 5:45. The rain stopped about when my brother and I arrived at the park (about 6ish) yet the rides started to close. On our way to the construction site, we saw the 80s show going on. Check out the awesome wigs: We got there just in time for the finale. Afterward we walked around BLSC to Ol' Swan Lake. It's good to see that they've already started to landscape the ride and it hasn't even been announced: Since The Beast was closed, we decided to walk back the Crypt exit to see what we could. It looks like they've started to store rebar back there: ...and they are marked. Like "LOAD/UNLOAD STATION": "KINGS IS. RIVERTOWN PH 3" And probably the most shocking and awe inspiring picture from the trip : and o yeah, this might help... All pictures
June 26, 200818 yr Do you think anyone ever thinks "maybe someone with a good zoom lens is going to zoom in on this tag and read something they shouldn't." Apparently they dont.
June 26, 200818 yr Author Haha, yeah. Because it's not like it was that far away either. They had a open field but chose to put it right by the path.
June 26, 200818 yr Author Nice photos Welche! I like seeing how Swan Lake is looking. The pictures were actually taken by my brother, ThaneOfPriceHill... I just post them on here for him. But I'm sure he'll appreciate your applause.
June 26, 200818 yr Very nice find with the station tidbit i would have never even noticed that. So does this mean that the station is going to be behind The Crypt?
June 26, 200818 yr What is the rebar used for? and does anyone know what DR and PH 3 mean? If these are really stupid questions I'm sorry I'm just a lil confused.

June 26, 200818 yr ^Yea, it's made to cast concrete, you could see them using it while pouring footings at Swan Lake in April. So why they are saying Station behind the Crypt, that's wierd. . .
June 26, 200818 yr ^Yea, it's made to cast concrete, you could see them using it while pouring footers at Swan Lake in April. So why they are saying Station behind the Crypt, that's weird. . . Maybe its just being stored back their until its time for it to be used.
June 26, 200818 yr As my blessed father would say: "And then what would little boys (and girls) ask questions about?"
June 26, 200818 yr I only wish you could...we lost him five years ago next month. Much of what I am, I owe to him...
June 27, 200818 yr All paddle boats have a load and unload station. Paddle your way to fun at Kings Island in 2009. Where else?

June 27, 200818 yr All paddle boats have a load and unload station. Paddle your way to fun at Kings Island in 2009. Where else? ^ Paddle boats would be a great fit to go with those neat flower pot holders. I've heard the "where else?" a lot less these days. Is it my imagination and I'm not paying attention, or have they slacked off on daring the customers to go somewhere else?
June 27, 200818 yr I think they have. Maybe they finally did some market testing and found out their customers weren't even thinking of going anywhere, much less going anywhere else...until the ads reminded them they still have other choices...so far.
June 27, 200818 yr King's Island, Where Else? Wait, what's that? Beech Bend, Holiday World, Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom, Indiana Beech, and Cedar Point are all within driving distance? Poo. Well, Kings Island! We have Footings and loco people trying to figure it out!
June 27, 200818 yr Mr. Kinzel would prefer that, of that list, you select Cedar Point if not Kings Island. A nickel is a nickel, and it matters little which of the company's parks it is spent in, as long as Mr. Kinzel can see a fair return....
