yournamehere Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Last sunday Kings Dominion had a record breaking attendance(11 year record). The main parking lot was filled up and they were parking cars in soccer fields. Here are some pictures to get an idea of how crowded it was:

Which, by the way is not necessarily a "record" if there have been busier days in terms of the number of the people in the park.

CoastersRZ Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 First of all, I doubt your "sources" would like you spreading information they reveal to you on a website forum. Secondly, I doubt that if the park had one of its larger crowds for a single day that the 40,000 number is accurate.

corn4ahead Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 last year during Halloweekends at CP i was in line for maverick and i started talking to a worker?manager and he said that that day was the most crowded day in CP history. Weird huh. We waited like 2 hrs for everything

Also Cedar Fair dosnt let attendance records out usually until the end of a season. As I said before im just reporting on some interesting information that I thought people would like to here.
The Interpreter Posted July 14, 2008 Posted July 14, 2008 Uh, Cedar Fair no longer issues individual parks' attendance records, at the end of the season or not. Cedar Fair policy is far more restrictive than was Paramount Parks' or even that of its own parks before the CBS acquisition.

Also in relation to your "reliable" sources, please see this websites Terms of Service: Any information posted claiming to be from an inside source or claiming to be confirmed, when not being released from Kings Island or Cedar Fair, must be posted along with the name of the source.
