Last sunday Kings Dominion had a record breaking attendance(11 year record). The main parking lot was filled up and they were parking cars in soccer fields. Here are some pictures to get an idea of how crowded it was:IMG_3900-763889.JPGIMG_3979-769864.JPGIMG_3964-777901.JPG

How exactly do you even know what the park`s official attendance was for the day, let alone the fact that it was the biggest single day attendance mark in eleven years? Which, by the way is not necessarily a "record" if there have been busier days in terms of the number of the people in the park.

First of all, I doubt your "sources" would like you spreading information they reveal to you on a website forum.

Secondly, I doubt that if the park had one of its larger crowds for a single day that the 40,000 number is accurate.

My sources contacted me through a kings dominion website, and the 40,000 is an estimate. And finally you dont have to sound mean about it, im just posting some interesting information that I have learned about.

I have very reliable sources. Also Kings Dominion is my home park. The crowds were estimated to be around 40,000.

So your reliable sources were giving you estimates?

That just doesn't make any sense.

Wouldn't your reliable sources be giving you exact numbers and not estimates?

What is that term about bliss...

last year during Halloweekends at CP i was in line for maverick and i started talking to a worker?manager and he said that that day was the most crowded day in CP history. Weird huh. We waited like 2 hrs for everything

I never said that my reliable sources were giving me the estimates. If you want estimates just go to any Kings Dominion fansite. Also Cedar Fair dosnt let attendance records out usually until the end of a season. As I said before im just reporting on some interesting information that I thought people would like to here.

Uh, Cedar Fair no longer issues individual parks' attendance records, at the end of the season or not. Cedar Fair policy is far more restrictive than was Paramount Parks' or even that of its own parks before the CBS acquisition.

OK, you have me lost.

Exactly what did your reliable sources tell you since you brought them up?

Not very cool to lift the photographs from a Kings Dominion fan site and not give them credit. Also in relation to your "reliable" sources, please see this websites Terms of Service:

Any information posted claiming to be from an inside source or claiming to be confirmed, when not being released from Kings Island or Cedar Fair, must be posted along with the name of the source. Failure to do so is a violation of an individual user's terms of service.
