Thanks to Mr. Phil Adams of Jungle Jim's and KICentral member Train Driver, KICentral was able to bring you exclusive backstage photos and updates on the progress of Jungle Jim's monorail which originally ran as the Lion Country Safari at Kings Island. Get all the details in KICentrals latest article here!

Im glad to here Lion Country Safari Monorail got a new home, i hope it does good at Jungle Jims! Also, the monorail reminds me of Magnum XL-200's trains...

Just curious as to why it has taken 15 years to get it up and going? Not bashing, so please don't take it that way.

Very nice piece! The pictures are great. Very well done Ronny!

My first guess:

$3.4 million might have something to do with it. That is a BIG undertaking.

My wife and I made a whole day of Jungle Jim's and IKEA, man did my feet hurt after that. Felt like I had been at the Magic Kingdom for the day.

Sounds like legal issues. I'm sure glad that the monorail has found a new home. Where, exactly, is Jungle Jim's?
