RailRider
Helbig... I love it. Seriously though the last line ready to roll when the park opens in 2009 with construction complete by Thanksgiving. That makes me think theres going to be theming like Mavrick, but we will see.
welchce
Spokesman Don Helbig said that the ride will change the landscape of Kings Island and tower over everything else at the amusement park. Then won't it need to be about 320 feet tall?
Jonathan
Hm.... makes me wonder if B&M did actually go out of their way on this one.
RailRider
I wish, I hope that Im wrong, but I dont see anything over 250ft, more along the lines of 225ft is what I see coming

Then won't it need to be about 320 feet tall? That would be awesome, but I really dont think so unless were getting a rollercoaster like xcelerator. CoastersNSich
The plans filed with the city of Mason show that the coaster will be just under a mile long with three loops. Does WLWT understand that just because it looks like a loop in plan, doesn't necessarily mean that it's a loop in elevation? (That's the architecture student and coaster enthusiast in me speaking up)

Just a hunch.
teenageninja
Why wouldn't you think so? Millenium Force is 310' I believe (I don't feel like looking it up). Unlikely, but not impossible.
JAHill
Park-goers said the clues suggest a high-speed ride with loops and steep hills. I am sick of hearing that one.
teenageninja
They aren't lying it has loops, just horizontal ones. They aren't marketing the ride to enthusiasts, they are marketing it to the GP. If you said helix to the GP they'd think something like a DNA strand more than likely.
RailRider
Whats DNA? Your giving the general public too much credit.
