G-Force
I have a question, when you renew a pass, is it a gold pass? Or is it just a regular pass?
LongLiveTheSmurfRide
I'm interested in the 2009 pass +1 (didn't get a pass this year because I bought my first house), but it doesn't give the price or what it costs to upgrade to gold. CoastersRZ
If you are a current 2008 season pass wanting to renew a pass for next year, it is not automatically gold. I`m not sure what the rates are for new pass holders for the 2009 season. However, for renewing 2008 pass holders who are purchasing a 2009 pass, a KI only pass is $79.99 and does NOT include parking. You must purchase a parking pass for $39.99. For $5 more, at a cost of $84.99, you can buy a KI Gold Season Pass for 2009, which includes free parking. And for $140, you can go for the Platinum Pass which grants admission to all Cedar Fair properties.
welchce
Then why is the picture for the renewal link on the website of a Platinum pass?
CoastersRZ
Beats me. Probably, just a picture of a pass that the person linked to when they were creating that page. If you click on the image and fill out your season pass barcode number, it takes you to the page that has the renewal rates for the passes. BavarianBeatle
They better change that....RAPIDLY!!. A picture of a Platinum Pass with a $79.99 price under it could be construed as false advertising and lead to ... God forbid... lawyers becoming involved.
