Not sure if this post belongs here, but I haven't seen any mention of who from KIC will have the pleasure of being the among the first riders assuming the $600 bid holds, which I'm almost certain will. I personally don't care, but I'm just curious? <_<

All corporate and group bids, including KIC's, are going to be donated back to A Kid Again to allow one of the participants to take the first ride. That's going to be a lot of happy kids, judging by the current bid board. :)

Terrific! When I worked at Disney World on a college internship back in 93, I helped out with the Give Kids The World event, where Disney hosted thousands of needy and sick kids from all over the world for a weekend of fun. I was lucky enough to escort a group of kids around to all the different rides and seeing their smiling faces is something I have never forgotten!

It looks like there is some serious landscaping going on in the splashdown, well there are a few flatbed trucks there so either that or there is a hidden gas station or something.....

Like flowing lava, I see a "stream" of stones building in counter-clockwise along the southeast perimeter of the splashdown. I did not see those there yesterday (unless they were in the shadows)... There seem to be workers tossing rocks into the new formation, too...

I bet you can't resit watching the video atleast once.

I hope that on your first trip to KI, this song is playing as you enter the park :D

Well if that is not the case, you can always head north to Sandusky. I know that last year that song was on the Magnum loop, and whenever it started playing most people in line looked at their friends, laughed, "oh my god were getting rick rolled" and then quite a few started to join in on the chorus.

I actually used to like that song, til I kept accidentally falling for things and would hear that song way too much. Now it's over played alot. I wander if he's mad about what his music has become, or maybe he still gets paid?

^^Your answer can be found in this video of the Macy's Thanksgiving Parade this year:

I was watching the parade with my mother when this happened. I got up and was flipping out because of how funny I thought it was. Then I had to explain to my mother what a "Rick Roll" was.

 What? They're putting rocks around the pond? Cool! ...

The rain is making the webcam a little foggy this morning, but there seems to be another 10 feet of "rockscape" since my last post on the subject. Lookin' good.

If that rain keps up we probably won't see much landscaping work today.

I seem to have a ceretain over-played song stubbornly stuck in my head!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
