We left his house around 1:30pm and arrived at Great Wolf Lodge around 7pm. As soon as we put our luggage up, we went to the hotel's waterpark. Nothing but fields farms And weird towns... But then i saw this! The wood for Cedar Point's new GCI Finally! Bored-ism, its a real word Pokahontus and her mother owel! The indoor waterpark I see Cedar Point from our balcany! Hills The main reason we came hear; to ride virtual coasters! GWL Tortues animals! Im gonna do it! Me playing virtual Mayor-Bee Highway to Hell.. Snakes in a Hotel! I can ride a virtual motorcycle with no handle bars, no handle bars GWL kills puppys! And Moles! And whatever this is! And deers! Super Silly Fun Time! There were dirt bikes levitating all over GWL! Mean ole' Mean Steak (yes Mean Steak) was calling our names Picture everyone has of MS I do love it's sign Over-banked turns on woodies, pah-lease! So good to look at, not so good to ride... The Hall of no Return! As you can see, the lines were outragiously long! I don't like how Mean Streak's brake run is.. This ruins Frountiertown's Atmosphere... Cedar Creek Mine Ride CCMR Maverick, i promise ill ride you later! Maverick is perd-ay Ill have much more pictures of Maverick later Why PKI, why!? Swan Lake? I had forgotten about the names of defunct rides and coasters on the graves. That is creative. I don't like Pain Streak's brake run either.. or the rest of the coaster, for that matter. It gave me owies. I gasped and got a smile on my face when I got to the Millennium Force photos. That is my number one favorite, if you can't tell. Milly is so huge. It never fails to intimidate me, but at the same time, it excites me. I will never get tired of riding it or looking at it. Nice TR, and very nice photos! I managed to make it up to CP 5 times this year for a total of 7 days in the park. I am planning a 2 day Halloweekends trip too. I love Cedar Point, and I can not wait to go again. I hope you're still like that when you get older! Love that shot you took under Power Tower! The sky looks beautiful, you must've had great weather! Next year I'm going to try to plan on going on a day like that...I've never experienced walk-ons at CP! Glad you guys had so much fun! Being Passholder Appreciation day, we got the extra hour in the morning on Raptor, but the extra hour at night on Magnum was awesome! So much fun. Also, after a few rides during the first hour ERT on Raptor, we headed to Dragster (even though it wouldn't open til noon with the park), and waited outside the entrance, hoping for a rollback. The waiting paid off. We were in the first train and got our rollback! The rest of the day was perfect. Short lines, perfect weather, good friends. Nick, you really are a good photographer. I work 40 hours a week and am taking 9 credit hours at college, so my amusement park visits this fall will be limited. I know that GCI does a lot of off-season rehab work a number of coasters each year and just completed a fantastic rehab on Carowinds’ Thunder Road this past winter. In addition to GCI now being in Cedar Fair’s favor for building new wood coaster projects, I’m going to guess that they’ve asked GCI to come in to find some way to overhaul Mean Streak into the coaster that it was meant to be, instead of the disaster that it now is.
