rex
Oh boy, I can't wait for this!!!!! But can someone explain to me what this has to do with Freedom?
RailRider
The Freedom Concert series, is a concert series hosted by conservative talk/radio host Sean Hannity. A portion of all ticket proceeds will be donated to the Freedom Alliance Foundation Scholarship fund for college scholarship for those dependents of veterans who have been killed in action or are 100% disabled as a result of war injuries. Thrill_Biscuit
It's good to see another event at KI with lots of famous people! I was glad to hear Sean mention frequently how Kings Island is one of the most beautiful parks in the country. Wait 'til they get a load of Diamondback!! BoddaH1994
The Freedom Concert is for a charity. If you don't like it, don't go. It's that simple. From the terms of service you agreed to when you registered on these forums: Due to the board's history of political turbulence, general political talk is NOT welcome on the boards unless it is unbiased and DIRECTLY related to the matter at hand (i.e. Local Senators meet at KI). Threads or posts that the staff deems to be at risk of causing disrespect or result in people feeling threatened will be removed by the staff. If an individual user is persistent, action will be taken against them by the staff. We are about what happens at Kings Island, not your political views. The Interpreter
Amen and Hallelujah. In addition, one cannot give to ALL charities...nor can a charity be established for every worthy cause. Politically, there is probably NOTHING I agree with Sean Hannity on...but I have gone to his Freedom concerts at Great Adventure, I have met the man several times, he is genuine and supports this cause with all his heart. I willingly pay to go...and I strongly encourage others to do so. In addition, you WILL have a great time. It's amazing who can and does show up at those things! RailRider
Wow somebody just blew the TOS out of the water. Take it somewhere else. The Freedom Concerts are a great event and its even better that it is for a great cause. Looks like it will be a great line up as well for the show next year. KI-ORIG-EMP
The place will be filled with Vets, just like myself. We like the ideal that is is going to a great cause. It will be a great time for the whole family. Airborne all the way!

WooferBearATL
I'm with Interp. Sean Hanity is actually someone that I don't think I could even go as far as shake hands with. (Anyone that knows me knows that there are very few I can say that about.) But, this is a good cause and good music, though. I just wish that his name were not attached with such a worthy even. RailRider
Sorry, I forgot what the topic was. Oh yeah, the line up for the Freedom Concert looks great. Billy Ray Cyrus, Charlie Daniels, Lee Greenwood, and Michael W. Smith will be performing. I have seen a few of the performers before, but Lee Greenwood puts on one of the best shows around. Very passionate and energetic, not to mention he is a great artist. Still one of the best shows I have ever attended was his performance at the Lee Greenwood Theater in Sevierville TN, absolutely amazing. Well yes the line up is great even if it isnt your style of music. We are talking about some of the most iconic Country songs around in this line up. Achey Breaky Heart, Devil Went Down to Georgia, and God Bless America. Still relevant performers and will put on a great show. Well worth the price of admission...
