Maybe you should do the same for the responses you got, considering they shot down your "points."

Why?? When they were irrelevant to the points I was making? Especially the stuff about CP...

Actually they were relevant, both RailRider and I were pointing out your argument about "bad operations" and ride popularity, thats what i was referring to.

Oh yes, another arguement! Let me pop some popcorn!

an attractions line does in no way determine its popularity

Agreed. I went to CP on closing day and the line for Dragster wasn't even to the bottom of the ramp the whole day. Millennium Force was a walk on all day, and so was Wicked Twister, Raptor, and Magnum.

I've seen MF with the queues full all the way to the switchbacks and outside of the queue almost to the lockers. I've seen TTD's queue completely full and backed up outside the queue to the grandstand. Don't even get me started on Maverick's line.

If anyone wants to question ride popularity, try braving CP on a warm, sunny Saturday. ;)

Ohh. My. God. Can we meet up closing day next year?

If you do, you may well see someone else you may know there, unless'n of course he is having some other great adventure!

lol, isn't it odd how sometimes we get so offtrack that by reading the entire third page you couldn't even tell the intitial topic.

^Another pun Terpy, you have been on a Pun-athon lately haven't you!?

Ohh I would look forward to that. You're not a very talkative person, or were you just to cold to be one?

Terpy not talkative?

Snicker, snicker, snicker....

Terpy, who was often told to "Shut up!" when a youngun', and whose then nicknames included Blabbermouth and question box! :)

I didn't hear much out of your mouth that day at all besides "Brr!" and "Wow it's Cold".

If a tree falls in a forest and you are not there to hear it, did it make a sound?

Besides, do Eagles Fly yet today at Dollywood? Should we then call them Danny's Phantom Flyers?

Terpy spent most of his Saturday touring the Great Smokey Mountains National Park and surrounding environs. He spent most of the preceding Friday seeing the shows at Dollywood. And he had a delightful repast at Lamp Post Cafe in Madisonville, TN...not to be missed, it isn't! :)

Sure, I love meeting new coaster people!

But if it's going to be as cold on closing day next year as it was this year, you'd better be prepared. Go to my CP closing day TR and read what I had to wear to stay warm. The breeze off the lake was viciously cold, though the trip was definitely worth it to go up there and see such short, almost nonexistent lines.

And yet, I have also been to CP closing days when it was balmy, and to SFOG closing days where I nearly froze solid! :) I daresay it was much warmer this year at CP closing day than it was at Dollywood the Saturday before Thanksgiving (the day started out at 18 degrees and somewhat windy!), so I suspect our Jackson is well prepared.

For the best amusement park in the world? I'll barely notice if there are icicles from my nose.

However, for some coasters, there are certain temperatures where they are not allowed to operate. At least that's what I am told.

Yeah...ask Jackson about Dollywood's coaster operating temperatures (of which we advised him 'ere his trip!). Is it a mystery? Mine? Nah....

CP The best amusment park in the world? really?

Yep, I got pretty bumed over that one. Ah well, I still got Thunderhead, Blazing Fury, and Tennessee Tornado. I'm satisfied.

Yea, Really.

Please don't get WooferBearATL started again...

Terpy, who loves Cedar Point but much prefers great adventures...

Ohh, please don't start WooferBearATL on it, I do not prefer at all to listen to him on the Golden Ticket Awards.

^^OR bushy gardens!! ;)

Ha ha good one.
