Is QBOt Coming To Cedar Point?

IF it is, I'd hope for pricing more like Dollywood's and less like Six Flags'. But I bet that hope would be in vain.

It would be possible since the rides are still set up for Speedway or whatever they called it.

I don't think CP will ever do anything like that again. I think what they may be talking about is the VIP package, where you spend about $350 and basically go straight to the front of every line.

That is alot of money considering the tour is only 8 hours and you can't do rerides like the same ride back to back but just think about all the rides you would be able to get on. I am not sure but I also think you can't get the preium seats on the coasters like the front seat or very back.

^^Not quite sure on the re-rides...I haven't done a VIP since 07, but I know someone who did last year, and she didn't say anything about a re-rides restriction.

And you DO get to pick your seat, for crying out loud. You may be thinking of the QBot system at Six Flags, where you do NOT get to pick your seat (and yet some of the QBot seats ARE the best seats. like the last row on Mindbender at Six Flags over Georgia...Rolling Thunder at Great Adventure, on the other hand, is in the middle of the train!). Six Flags also offers VIP tours, and in fact offered them before Cedar Fair did.

^^Yeah, the Flash Pass for Kingda Ka are the crap trains...needless to say, I refuse to ride unless orange and blueberry are on the bench...also, GASM used to be for the middle train, but I didn't ride GASM at all last year.

Other places in some Six Flags parks, the QBot line joins the regular line at some point in the station, and you CAN pick your own seat...see, for example, Nitro and Superman: Ultimate Flight at Great Adventure.

^Add Superman Ride of Steel at SFNE to that list.

Man I miss that coaster.

And *I* miss the incredible ride that was once the Riverside Cyclone. What Gary Story's Six Flags did to that ride is nothing short of a shame. Dare-to-fly can complain about trim brakes until he is blue in the face, and probably will, but raising first drops like was done to Cyclone at Riverside and to Rattler at Fiesta Texas has a much more pronounced and permanent effect.

I saw the rerides on the Cedar Point website.

Unfortunately, re-rides are not permitted. Should you wish to ride an attration again, you must experience another attraction before returning

I wasn't sure about the seat thing. I had a fast pass or something along the lines and they said to pick any seat but the front.

If it was from Cedar Point, you probably had an exit pass...and yes, those are normally NOT good for the front seats.
