Does anyone have a pic or any info of/on the new Beast entrance?

I think the park is keeping it a surprise until opening day. I'm kinda glad there hasn't been any photos of whats in store.

^^ I concur. Too much is being revealed too early nowadays. Its fun to go to the park on opening day and discover things that have been added/removed/changed.

who even knows if the entrance is done yet? they still have 2 weeks to wrap things up.

I'm glad too, I really want it to be a surprise. I remember on August sixth right before the announcement, I was thinking about just looking at the name and stats, so the whole ride it's self would be a surprise. But then it was announced and I went and watched a POV.

But just look at that wood, ya its all new. Which means it was redone in some shape or form.

No that is clearly new wood. I wonder if they added a new switchback area where the vending machines used to be...

Yes I realize there are switchbacks directly behind that building, but Im wondering if they re did the building so that the vending machines are now on the other side, where the switchbacks are (and where they have a captive customer base.)

It could just be the light reflecting off it.

Doubtful, Ive never seen old wood look like its new again based on the light.

^I think it's just the sun reflecting off the wood, giving it a brighter appearance.

I think they put new siding on that side and got rid of the vending machines. In the picture it looks like the same type of panels that were on DB station before they stained it.

I know something that will suprise all of you!

I find the pop machines in the line to be kinda useless...But I also usually go in the middle of the week when it's pretty much a walk on. I've never seen anyone use them, and since you can't carry them on the ride, why spend 3.50 on a Coke I'm gonna only drink half of before having to throw it out.

^^Was it just me, or did I-spy some vending machines with $3 prices at the end of last season??

Also, wisely or not, I commonly put my unfinished plastic bottles in the loose articles bin before riding, and then retrieve them when done always without incident.

Wood can be sanded and look new again as well. Can't rule that out as well, but I do a agree it looks new.

Could be a light, but the other one is black and lit. They other matches the building and does not seem lit to me? I could be wrong?

click on the picture, and look a little closer, it's definatley a light as far as I can tell. If you look close enough you can see a black pole on it, instead of one matching the roof. I think the "pole matching the roof" is an optical illusion.

I think you are right, it looks like a cardinal sitting on top of it or somthing that made it looks like it was part of the building..
