Scooby's Vengeance
Well, I had just gotten to the KI job fair last week, turned in my application, and was waiting patiently for an interview. I had thought that I had heard that they were accepting people under 16 (I'm about 15 and a half, a bit older than that), and so I waited for my interview, drank a cappichino, which was much too rich for my tastes, and then my friend came. She and I talked awhile to pass time... An hour of talking, then I got a bit perturbed. I asked a more-head-of-something lady if they were hiring people under 16, and she said no, they were not. That didn't upset me as much as the waste of an entire hour of my time. I would have thought that the desk where you turned your applications in at would ask you if you were under sixteen or not, to save time and frustrations! Plus, to add insult to injury, I can't get a job in the park until the latter half of the summer, when I will already HAVE a job... Oh well, another summer just enjoying the park... teenageninja
It's not their responcibility to ask your age. Knowing that being under 16 it's hard to get a job (trust me I know) you probably should have asked. You have a lot of hours left in your life I wouldn't be too worried. FOF
When you asked if they were hiring people under 16, did you clarify for all departments. Because Foods, Games, and Merchandise will hire people that are 15 1/2 years old. However all those positions could've been filled up. There are only so many positions to offer, and I guess all those positions were filled up.
pki_guy
Yea, you could be a part of the front gate picture mob, (which many people dislike) But its probably an easy job.

Crazy31088
This may sound like a dumb question, but what kind of job *can* you get at the park when you're 16?
FOF
When you turn 16 you are able to be in rides, and I'm not sure what else. However thats if there are open positions left.
Scooby's Vengeance
I assume they did indeed run out of positions at concessions, where I wanted to work (POTATO WORKS GRILL WITH MI AMIGO JORDAN)... but then I found out how many positions and types of job there are... I want to be in entertainment! Do they still have the Clown Band? Anyway, the lady told me that they weren't interviewing people under 16 at all, which greatly upset me... TraderJake
Yeah, I believe all 15 year old positions are currently full (not to mention all but one of the departments that would even hire a 15 year old), I'd wait until the middle of April and then see if they are then hiring people the age of 15.
