Oldiesmann
I was looking through the historical photos, and vaguely remember riding the Witch's Cauldrons ride. Where exactly was this located and when was it removed? I looked at the 1989 park map and it wasn't on there, so I must have been fairly young when riding it (either that or I'm remembering Der Spinnin' Keggers). Thrill_Biscuit
It was directly off the west corner of Enchanted Voyage (now SDATHC), right next to the Scooby Doo (Now FOC). Here's the link to the picture in the History Section (Reggie Zippo): Enchanted Voyage

XGatorHead 8904
The compass is long gone. WOOHOO! 1,000th Post! I've gone from Senior to Star! (And here I thought all the stars left with Paramount... ) Edited April 30, 2009 by XGatorHead 8904
dare-to-fly
The compass is long gone. Another of many details that have gone by the wayside in favor of more obvious things. It's in detail heaven playing with the red, white, and blue color scheme on Racer, The Beast's paw prints, Flight of Fear's own sign, and Flight Deck's paint. markr
The Witch's Caudrens is the one ride in my 37 years of going to KI that I got sick on.
violakat03
Witch's Cauldron is the ride that trained me to never get sick on rides. When I was very young, my mom used to take my brother and I on it (and Der Spinning Keggers) and spin us as fast as she could. I have never once gotten sick on a ride, and I point to this as the cause.
markr
I don't think it was a coincidence that the Witch's Cauldrens were right near the first aid station.
Oldiesmann
It's a shame that so many classic rides have disappeared. I don't know if I remember Der Spinnin' Keggers, but that looks like it was a lot of fun as well.
Dvo
Those rides are fun. I went to Disney World and vowed to spin the tea cups faster than they've ever been spun. And I had some solid spinning going, but I also had horrible blisters on my hands... worth it? I dunno...
tigellinus
^^Hey Dvo, did you see my question?
Oldiesmann
Were they removed as part of an HB expansion or was there another reason for their removal?
