BoddaH1994
This is just a reminder that the band Collective Soul will be playing at Kings Island as part of the ASA Sports weekend with a show at 7pm on Sunday, May 24rd. This show will be in the Timberwolf and is FREE with park admission. Seating is first come, first serve.

Kawana
We'll be there in row F of section 3. Pretty good seats for free, if I do say so.
Avatar
I'll be there and as I have said over the years watching live musical performance from popular bands at Kings Island is a unique experience. Watching a video after the fact does not do justice so I would suggest everybody needs to make sure they are there.
Thrill_Biscuit
Man, Collective Soul. That's huge! These guys have a bunch of songs that have gotten massive airplay for years! "Shine", "December", "Smashing Young Man", "The World I Know" and "Gel" among the most recognizable.
Justin_M17
I believe i've seen something about Crooked X also playing? If that's true, I will definitely be there
indianapolisman
When I got home yesterday there was a messege from the park on my answering machine reminding me about this I'll be at the race with my Dad that day.
BoddaH1994
I believe i've seen something about Crooked X also playing? If that's true, I will definitely be there Crooked X will be performing on Saturday evening.
Justin_M17
I guess that's a reason for me to go on a Saturday >.< Thank ya.
Mr. Christopher
I don't believe Crooked X is performing. There will be another group to fill their spot.
Kawana
What is the policy regarding cameras in Timberwolf? I wouldn't mind taking a few photos, but I don't want to get run out of the park.
Oldiesmann
I couldn't find anything about Timberwolf rules on KI's website, but Ticketmaster says "Coolers, cameras and recording devices are not permitted".
BoddaH1994
I don't believe Crooked X is performing. There will be another group to fill their spot. They announced who the other band was at the press conference this morning but it's slips my mind.
Kawana
I couldn't find anything about Timberwolf rules on KI's website, but Ticketmaster says "Coolers, cameras and recording devices are not permitted". According to GR tonight, cameras will be permitted as far as they know. Best bet is to call the day before and check. Unless security confiscates the entire crowd's cellphones, I don't see how they can contain the cameras.
The Interpreter
...Unless security confiscates the entire crowd's cellphones, I don't see how they can contain the cameras. Not the entire crowd's... Terpy, whose cellphone ain't got no camera for a reason best not discussed here...
mac2008
You dont need special tickets do you? you can just walk in if u got a gold pass right?
The Interpreter
As the first post in this thread says, admission is free with park admission...no gold pass is required. BUT: Tickets for the concert are available at the park on public operating days and assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. ASSIGNED seats...must get a ticket from the park in advance...this is from the news article I posted in the second post... http://www.middletownjournal.com/news/midd...and-117939.html
Skywriter
So where do I get the tickets ? I believe Pop Evil is Crooked X or wait a min sat I believe did not name the band performing.
mac2008
Yeah thats what i meant so if i dont have tickets now going on sunday to catch the concert would probably be pointless. THanks
The Interpreter
Call the park and ask...there may or may not still be tickets available...

Diamondback FOF
So, if I don't get tickets but I still want to hear the concert, then I could probably still hear the music outside of Timberwolf couldn't I?
Mr. Christopher
With Pyramid Productions doing audio, you should hear it no problem.
Diamondback FOF
Ok thanks. We probably won't get tickets, as we may not even make it up to KI. When I first heard who they were, I was likem "Wow, I've never heard of them, even though they are a multi-platinum band. I don't want to go listen to them." Then I did a youtube search for them and I'm like," Wow! I love those songs!"
