Has anyone been on FOF lately?

It really depends on when you go. If you go on busy days, you can expect to wait an hour, but usually on weekdays, the wait is not that bad. You might expect half an hour or less for a wait time. Likely less.

Judging by how long it's been since you rode it, expect a much stronger mid-course brake than you once had too. It almost completely stops the train these days.

Go early. We were there on Sunday and rode it twice at about 10:10. When we went in for our first ride, The queue room was completely empty, I stood there and told my daughter that I have never seen this. It is always packed full. We didn't hit the back of the line till the loading station. Later in the day though even the outside queue was full.

I rode it about 4 times over RWW. I got to only wait for about 30 minutes wach time. But if you go for Halloween Haunt you probly will wait longer becasue they sometimes have scareactors in there themed to the ride since it looks like its on haunt.

I rode it 7 times over the weekend. It was the first time I had ever ridden it with the lights on and it was awesome! But, it was during the ERT so I don't know what the lines were like. The ride itself felt more forceful than before, but that could be because of my offseason blues.

I didn't think it was more forceful, but I didn't remember it coming to a near complete stop about mid way through. It did this both times we rode it.

There is hardly any line every time I ride it. I hit Firehawk first thing when park opens so not wait on that.. then right to FOF for another ride with maybe a 1 or 2 train wait for front row. Then run down to Invertigo for a ride before that line gets big.

Usually on Saturdays. You just need to hit it first thing when park opens... Then as the park gets busy you go on other rides that always have less waits like beast, Vortex, racer, Adventure Express...etc. You can go on DB anytime of day and have a short wait if you use the Single Rider Line.

It does that EVERY time you ride it!

Flyer, disgusted.

There is a reason the MCBR is on as hard as it is. I'm not sure why, but it's not like they are turning on the brakes for no reason.

With the lights on I noticed a considerable ammount of movement on the track around the MCBR. I know track and supports are supposed to flex ( helping to absorb and distribute the force) but the track to the right and above your head was rocking back and forth every time we sat (yes literally sat) on the MCBR.

I don't know if that's a normal ammount of movement for FOF but it's more than I've seen on other rides.

Usually when I go on Saturdays, the wait is between 30 minutes to an hour and 15 min. If we hit KI on a weekday, then 15-30 min. And last year (I haven't ridden FOF yet this year), I noticed the MCBR grabbing really hard on the trains. I guess it's getting old (I know, only 14 years), but for some reason I guess it can't take stresses as well anymore. Also, I didn't think you could stay in your seat because of the way the ride is set up.

Friday afternoon, just after the rain stopped, the station for FoF was empty. I rode 6x in the front seat and never had to get up.

Never got up huh? I doubt that because of the waiting area between the loading station and the unload station.

I was thinking the same thing.

Well yeah, I guess I should have worded it differently.

I never had to wait to get back into my seat :P My bad.

Unless, of course, you meant on King Cobra, Mantis, Firehawk and on and on and on....

I've been Terpied again!

I've never marathoned on any coaster that isn't a sit down coaster. My record is 13 in a row on The Beast on a really light day when I marathoned on it for over two hours.

I myself haven't been on this year, just from the fact that every time I go by the line is spilling out the door. I remember one of the shortest waits was with a friend after work, were the line was in the station. And then the Sunday after a very busy Saturday in 2005 in Oct, I have never seen a walk on to the front seat. That was amazing, I remember last year the MCBR does bring the train to a full stop.
