So I finally have a moment to write my trip report from this weekend. First off I'd like to thank everyone who I got a chance to meet from KIC this weekend. Hopefully next time I will have a chance to meet a few more of you. Also thanks to Don for allowing us to be a part of this.

Saturday May 9th

We left Indy around 4:30 Saturday morning on little over 4 hours of sleep. My g/f (Aleesha) slept most of the way there. We arrived at the park around 6:20. We headed right for the line to register. After registering we waited about 20 minutes and then they walked us all back to The Beast. We got three rides on before 8. We then headed over to BLSC were we waited on train for front car. After that they had opened The Vortex so we got two rides on it, once in 7-1 and once in the front. Both seats were equally as smooth in my opinion. We then walked back over to BLSC for another ride. Then back over to The Beast for our 4th ride of the day.

After all that it was about 9 and I had forgotten to take my Dramamine so we walked back out to my car to grab a snack and take my meds. We walked back into the park around 9:45 and we headed over to the Coney Mall. At 10 we got the first train of the day in first car on FoF. Which is now my favorite seat. Then Firehawk was still doing its morning tests so we jumped in line outside of the que and decided we would wait. Turns out we only waited 5 minutes then they let us in. We were the second train of the day. Another amazing ride. After that we decide to Ride Adventure Express. It was fun but the effects weren't working in the tunnel still. Then we headed over to Runaway Reptar and got a ride in on that.

Now it was time for The Beast walkback, and I will let the pictures do the talking.

After The Beast walkback I really don't remember the order in which we rode everything so I'm just going to post some of the best pictures I took during the day.

So after getting a couple rides in on a few more rides. I was ready for a nap. So we left the park around 3:30 to go and check into our hotel. We took about a 2 hour nap and grabbed a few snacks then back to the park we were by 7. We headed straight for SoB where I managed to get a few good photos.

After waiting about an hour and fifteen minutes for SoB we decided we'd jump in line for our night ride on The Beast. We timed it just right. We got our last ride on The Beast right at 9:30. Wow I will always love The Beast at night, and now guess what I had time to jump in line for one ride on Diamondback before the ERT started. The single rider lane was looking longer than the regular line so I jumped in the regular line and only waited about 25 minutes just reached the stairs when the fireworks started. Another amazing ride on Diamondback. Now it was time for ERT. The thing I liked most was the no seat assigning. This helped a lot. I only got three rides during ERT because my g/f didn't want to ride and I didn't want her to just have to sit alone for another hour and a half so we left at 11:30. Here are my ORP's from that night.

Oh my last ride of the night was in the front car. WOW!!! Is all I can say. What a way to end the night.

Second day TR coming shortly!

Sunday May 10th

We woke up around 7:45 and we went to check out of our hotel. We arrived at the park around 8:10. We got registered and walked right over to FoF. We got two rides with the lights on. We then decided to ride The Racer because Firehawk was closed. So we rhode the red side twice in a row without getting off. Then we heard The Vortex was open so we got two more rides in our now favorite seat 7-1 and front car. Now I wanted one more ride on FoF so we walked through the exit and got another walk on ride this time with the lights off. Which is much better in my opinion. After that we met everyone under The Racer where Don walked us all over to Diamondback for some ERT. I got one ride in before 10 and after that I knew we were in for another great day.

Here are some of the best pictures taken on day 2.

This TR froze my computer twice, then gave it the blue screen of death....then froze it AGAIN! Try resizing the pictures so they aren't MASSIVE on the screen before KIC does the automatic resizing thumbnails, it'd help a LOT.

Really good pics!

I liked the one you had marked Photo Contest #2, with the tower and kiddie copters.

The other one that I thought was really well done was the one with the tower in the background, and the Diambondback sign.

But they were all really good. Another one that pops out (to me) is the one where you are looking up into the sun towards DB going over a hill.

Great PTR! You got some really awesome shots! I love the one with the helicopters and the tower in the background. But I also love "Diamondback's raincloud" and the one where you are looking up at the sun and only the partial DB train is in the shot. Let us know which one you decide to choose! Glad you guys had a lot of fun.
