May 16, 200917 yr I rode it for the first time yesterday and all I can say is wow!!! But maybe it is my short legs; but I noticed a lot of people legs were just hanging. the airtime is awesome!
May 16, 200917 yr It has a floor, therefore it is not floorless. Compare the cars of Diamondback with those of other B & Ms such as Kraken and Dominator and you'll DEFINITELY see a clear difference.
May 16, 200917 yr The seat configuation makes it feel like a floorless but you'll have to ride a floorless to see the difference.
May 16, 200917 yr I haven't rode yet so I can't really say much. But I guess it would appeal to feel floorless if your feet don't reach the floor.
May 16, 200917 yr I haven't rode yet so I can't really say much. But I guess it would appeal to feel floorless if your feet don't reach the floor. It may physically feel like a floorless (if your feet don't touch), but the difference is the mind games that play in your head when you see the track just beyond your feet.
May 17, 200917 yr I guess Diamondback COULD be considered floorless, but simple put...It's not. It has a floor, so it's not floorLESS. And I agree, if Diamondback was floorless, it would be a great adventure. Click here.
May 17, 200917 yr it calls for a new term. it has a floor so no floorless, but feels like no floors there only leaving air inbetween so i would say it is air-floored.
May 17, 200917 yr Let me answer your question with a question. Is a car with a roof considered a convertable just because the windows on the car with a roof are down? No. So is Diamondback considered a floorless because your feet dangle inches from the floor? No. Because it has a floor. There is a BIG difference between a floorless and non-floorless. HTCO, who feels like he will be schooled by terpy..
May 17, 200917 yr Is a car with a roof considered a convertable just because the windows on the car with a roof are down? Does the cooling systen in a 1958 Ford Fairlane work if all four windows are down but the car is not moving in the summer? (same answer for both questions. Monroe who failed his first driving test because of a 10 year old Ford Fairlane, stupid turn signal!!!)

I can imange it being a little scary.

May 17, 200917 yr I like it a lot...it reminds me of HSTC, a favorite of mine, now gone. Terpy, who also congratulates you on your post count demarcation!
May 17, 200917 yr So, given that, "Have you driven a Ford....lately?" Terpy, who just HAD to ask No, I am more of a GM kind of guy. I hated all of my fathers cars, he had the honor of meeting Mr. Ford so it was Ford or nothing for him. I will, however, have the chance to take a Mustang out for some fun in June. (A long and awaited journey by myself this time, it was supposed to be last fall but trips abound.) Let's just hope that Mr. Merlin doesn't play any tricks on me like he did the last time with the instructor.
May 18, 200917 yr While it may not be floorless, having your legs free is very unique. IMO, this is the way to really enjoy this ride. Leaving a generous gap between your lap and the restraint-and hands and feet forward is just an amazing feeling. It allows your whole body to float and fall as if your leaping giant bounds and walking on air. I don't foresee myself getting tired of this any time soon.
May 18, 200917 yr Author That is exactly how it felt! I can't wait to ride it again!! Thanks guys! And sorry for the stupid question Maria
