Beast79
Since ki is having another reunion this year I was wanting to see who all on there used to work at ki and who still does. List what years, departments, shows, shops or rides crews. 1997: Viking Fury/Skylab once skylab bit the dust I floated around then join Flight of Fear on July 4th. 1998: Flight of Fear 1999: Face Off, trained Flight of Fear crew since both supervisors were still attending out of state colleges "long story". Transferred to Skyflyer half way through the season because they needed 18+ crew to become Site Controllers. 2000: Face Off/Skyflyer 2001: Face off/Skyflyer Became supervisor last half of season. To list rides that I operated from being sent would be too long, to make it short any ride that was there or still is from 97 to 01. Associate recruiter during the weeks in Sept and Oct. Left to join the air force in April of 2002 but was medically discharged and then hired Mech 2 ride maintenance seasonal. July 2002 - Oct. 2003 Rides maintained; Yogi's skytours, FX theater, Drop Zone, Congo Falls, Zephyr, White Water Canyon, Log Flume, carousel, Tomb Raider, skyflyer and the Conveyors out in the Water Park. Since I started late during the 2002 season I got to work through the winter so I helped with Torquing bolts and checking track for stress cracks on Flight of Fear, checked track for stress cracks on Vortex and Top Gun. Helped with construction on Delirium supports and drop platform. Helped with repairs on Beast lift, SOB lift and block breaks. 2006: Worked with Creative Environs to finish install on theming for Nick universe Installed 3D characters on Nick Jr Drivers, molecule panels on atom smashers fencing, backyardigans panels, ghost panels on phantom flyers fencing, the characters that go around the carousel and the dots around fencing, Spongebob's pineapple house and the flowers, and finally the 3D sculpt of Dora and Boots. buckeyemaniac
I noticed that they took out the old hydrolic foot pedals and installed contact switches. Yeah, that was quite a surprise. Still not used to it. Every once in a while a boat will go past because we forget to flip the switch back.

buckeyemaniac
yeah some girl closed the divider on us almost causing a boat jam haha That part hasn't changed lol. Sometimes the gate gets caught up by the current and is slow switching sides, or it could just be that she wasn't paying much attention lol.
