thebeastisawsume Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Well I Personaly love the G's on Vortex Helix ! What about you please comment! Quote
Beast79 Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 I love the G's you pull going thru the loop on the way back! Quote
TTD-120-420 Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Double Helix on Beast. Nothing better at KI. Quote
Kris_2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 FOF has like 4G's, Vortex gas some crushing lateral G's on the front seat when it goes into the MCBR. Too much for me, and The Vortex is getting really jerky, I'd like to see it go bye bye. Yes flame on... Quote
goofywdw Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Flight Deck, last row really pulls you over that first hill. Then gravity takes over from there. The whole ride is full of great forces, the ride is just too quick for people to think about it. One of my favorite spiels the crew says "Enjoy your ride on Flight Deck, brought to you by gravity. We discover it, you experience it." Or something along those lines. Quote
McSalsa Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Easy choice- The Beast's 540 degree tunnel helix finale. At night especially. But Vortex and Flight of Fear also pulled some serious Gs when I was on them- Vortex to a bit of painful degree on my shoudlers, but it was OK. And Diamondback had tons of airtime, and that counts because that means you are feeling "Zero Gs"...wait, on second thought, no it does not! Zero G is No G! Quote
The Interpreter Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Think about it. Ever hear of "negative g's?" Airtime involves negative g's to an extent. Not as much as it once did, many years ago. Modern coasters are designed to give the sensation of airtime without also introducing unnecessary risks. Quote
Beast1979 Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 I love the G's on "Diamoundback". Like Terpy said, G forces include Negative G's, and Diamondback by far has the most of that at KI. It was close for the final helix of The Beast, by far one of the greatest elements ever on a coaster, but Diamondback's insane airtime takes the trophy. Quote
Dvo Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Flight Deck just pulls some serious G's around every turn. Beautiful. Quote
Diamondback FOF Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Think about it. Ever hear of "negative g's?" Airtime involves negative g's to an extent. Not as much as it once did, many years ago. Modern coasters are designed to give the sensation of airtime without also introducing unnecessary risks. What could happen if there was too many negative g's on a coaster? Quote
The Interpreter Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 The fear is that inadequately restrained riders would be launched. Quote
Fear the Four Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 My favorite in the whole park is the 540 helix on The Beast It's awesome. But I like the g-forces on Delrium too. Quote
Kris_2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 The fear is that inadequately restrained riders would be launched. Or they would have a new tattoo of the restraint. Quote
KIFAN! Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Love the negative g's on DB. The positives on the loop of FH, Double Helix of BLSC, Vortex and FOF. I also love those lats o AE (which some people don't seem to like but I do) Quote
goofywdw Posted July 19, 2009 Posted July 19, 2009 Flight Deck just pulls some serious G's around every turn. Beautiful. Finally someone that agrees with me! There is a reason it had a 15 minute wait today. Quote

There is a reason it had a 15 minute wait today. Flight Deck does pull serious G's which is great but the OTSR's hurts my neck. The swinging ending is the best though. Quote
mtl2013 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 At KI, I loce the G's on Vortex and Diamondback the most. But, On faceoff, they are pretty sweet also. Quote
CoastersNSich Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 The -G's on Diamoundback is what makes me a frequent rider. Quote
Kris_2009 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I think positive G's are way more fun. -G's can be fun but like on Diamondback every hill is the same... I like switching things up once in a while. Quote
KIfan1980 Posted July 20, 2009 Posted July 20, 2009 I just love the g-forces I encounter getting slammed around The Beast car in the straightaway shed trim brakes or on Vortex when stopping behind SR&R Seriously, Beast double helix is my favorite right now, followed closely by Flight Deck but all time favorite had to be on King Cobra (loop, bunny hops, and dip to the left while standing were great). Quote
mtl2013 Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 i would say at ki, the best g's are in Vortex's helix. I would say The Beast's double helix, but the past few times I have riden it, That finale is just too rough now. It really kinda hurt my neck last time. Quote

In my experience, it is smoother now than it has been in many years. Quote
G-Force Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Well, I love G-Force being on just about any coaster... but my favorite has to be G-Force on Vortex, mostly because of its G-Forces. G-Force, who just HAD to.. Quote

RailRider Posted July 22, 2009 Posted July 22, 2009 Slightly off topic but King Cobra had some great positive G's in the helix... Quote
