goofywdw
From the webcam it looks like they want to open the ride but they can't for some reason. All of the trains are on the track and there is a line forming outside starting underneath the sign.
zas
Looks like it was nothing big (a wheel change maybe?) the line is building, waiting for it to reopen.

skaterboy22101
Looks like it was nothing big (a wheel change maybe?) the line is building, waiting for it to reopen. A wheel change would require the train to be in the train shed. I'd figure it's just technical diffaculties.
HTCO
Diamondback is now up and running, with people in the regular queue.
KI FANATIC 37
It probable rained and they can't run it in rain. I was their once and they close the line for a while. But only if it lightnings they close it for about 15min then test it then open it. I think thats what happened
Colonel_SoB_fan
That sure going to put a damper on the 1 millionth rider. I couldn't resist

I think thats what happened It wasn't storming last night or this morning, so I have no idea why that would have to do with any of it. Technical difficulties seems more like the reason. If the rain isn't going to last long they don't bother.
Coaster Kid
I rode it once when the rain was not so bad but right as we got to the top of the lift hill it became harder and more painful rain dops. I got to say that was my most painfuliest ride on DB ever.
CoasterFreak45
I rode in the rain on July 4th, that was a neat experience! It hurt but was fun.

MarketingExpress
Looks like it was nothing big (a wheel change maybe?) the line is building, waiting for it to reopen. A wheel change would require the train to be in the train shed. I'd figure it's just technical diffaculties. As one who has seen multiple wheels changed, I can tell you that not all coasters require the train to be in the "train shed" for a wheel change. sethdawg17
I was there and had just gotten in line for my first ever Diamondback ride when they said it would be a lengthy delay, it then opened about an hour or so later. I was in line for Beast and completely ran to Diamondback when I saw it testing, only had to wait 5 mins for my first Diamondback ride
Coaster Kid
Sweet some of us had 5 hours waits for our First rides and then some our waits were only 15 minutes like mine. OMG MY 200th POST YAY ME
Diamondback FOF
I was there on the 20th. Diamondback was shut down sometime between 11 and 12 (I found out from someone on Viking Fury that it was shut down). I then walked over to ride The Beast, when I saw two maintenance workers on the track by the final helix. Well, The Beast's line was too long, so I went to the Crypt, which was shut down again. I watched the maintenace people finish walking the helix and the drop to the splashdown. The second worker told me and a couple other people that we better go get in line because it would be opening shortly. So, we ran over and waited. More people saw us waiting so that was why the line formed. I heard the two ride ops for Diamondback talking and they were wondering why the maintenance worker told us to get in line and they said he shouldn't have. So, Dimaondback was shut down for just under two hours.
CedarPointer
I rode DB in the rain today. It wasn't *too* bad. No rerides, though, for whatever reason (I actually saw a train go out with only THREE riders!). It wasn't nearly as bad as Vortex. Oh, Vortex... all I remember was pouring rain, and pain. (Of course, the Arrow Quickrete coated restraints didn't help)
Fear the Four
I rode Diamondback in a downpour and going down that first hill kills and the second hill does too but it's always fun.
