i think i did, but still the thing is baffling me beyong belief.

well of course, the splash only goes so far out. So, you probably did just lean too far out.

I don't think it is possible to lean out so far as to get your left arm beyond the spray. You'd have to be as tall as Tom(Random #'s), have a double jointed back, and not be properly restrained.

What can actually happen is if you lean over too far (i.e. your body/head is in a horizontal position parallel to the ground) and you also bend back toward the spray - your leading arm (in this case your left) gets too low and too far forward to get hit with the water, but your trailing arm gets soaked.

I think you've got it exactly. I've had this phenomenon happen before too when I tried to get my entire upper body wet. I was also sitting in the left seat of row 16 and my left arm did not get wet, though my right arm, back and head did.I believe I had my left arm too far down and in front of the scoops.

I used to always put my Arm and head out and get soaked while in row 16. Until RWCW ERT when it was probably 50º and I was freezing, than I stopped and haven't tried since.

It's funny to sit in row sixteen and get your arms soaking wet then get the lap bar all wet and when people sit down there like what the?

One time when I was waiting for row 16 there was on seat wet on the seat and lap bar they were all wet. And the other one was dry I tricked my freind who hates getting wet in the wet seat.

I think it's hilarious when I've gotten myself thoroughly soaked and then come back into the station to see the people next in line with a horrified look on their face, usually quickly followed with a complaint about not wanting to get wet.

Posted from my BlackBerry mobile device.

I used to get wet on this ride until the water started looking disgusting. Have they cleaned it out yet?

Nope it hasn't been touched it since opening day.

^There are filters. You think KI would let some nasty dirty water hit people while they ride? Naw.

The water shoots up and out. It could have hit you plainly; it could have hit off your hand and on you; off Giga's hand; it's no Mythbusters.

I've gotten water up my nose one time. No lie. Brown train, left side, row 16 is where the best place to get wet is.

Thank heavens they haven't installed an elephant on it.

Yet.

I hate that elephant - used to ride the flume a lot more before it was added. My kid works as a pretty good shield sometimes though.

Heaven help us if Mr. Kinzel & Co. figure out said elephant would generate mucho business for the family drier, at 100 nickels a pop.

The family drier doesn't really work that well to tell you the truth. Even it was at a decent price i'd much rather walk around for a couple hours and let the sun do it's job.

Really - I rode it for many many years without getting wet. A little splash - maybe, but not wet.

HAHA I got a funny story. This lady I was riding with on White water canyon thought she wasn't going to get wet  the whole time I was standing in line she was telling her kids we wont get wet at all. They got soaked we got hit with like all the cannons lol and I think her camera got wet too.

The elephant has been much better this year than in years past. This year it's spray is like a light drizzle, whereas every other year since it was put in you got soaked.
