Ok he was 8 years old. I know it is hard, but think back to when you were 8. How many stupid things did you do? A lot. Now if he was 12 to 15 or older than yes they need to be kicked out. But for God's sake it is a little kid. A talk from a cop was all he needed. His mom was the one who needed talked to more than the kid.

I got yellled at once on the tower for sneezing...... I had a continous sneeze , like 4 or 5 in a row, i covered my mouth the first 3 times but I some how hit my head and sneezed again and the lady who was up there said something like why were spitting off the railing... I was like ummmmm I was sneezing...... after a few moments she understood but they do take it semi serious..... this was about 3 or four years ago.... the yr before college so maybe 2004..... ok or 5 years now ... wow im old

I was curious and Googled whether a penny/coin WOULD kill anyone if dropped from that height...according to this ABC News test the answer is no...in fact it would only feel "like a bug hitting you"...it has to do with the aerodynamics of the coin's shape. (They did say something more streamlined like a pen could be dangerous.)

It actually makes me feel a little better knowing that a coin is not as dangerous as I would have suspected.

I got hit in the face by a coin dropped from the first observation deck when it was still open and it most certainly did NOT feel like a bug hitting me! Left a little welt for awhile.

^ It definitely stings. Especially when it's a muffle head. Those suckers are big! I've only ridden front row of TTD at night once and decided once was more than enough.

I'm glad that they are taking things more serious. Sadly, I've seen employees watch people spit and do nothing about it. I pointed out someone that had spit off the tower at Kings Dominion and the employee said "sorry, I didn't see it, I can't do anything about it."

I try not to walk under the Eiffel Tower.

The only thing anyone is allowed to cast from the Eiffel Tower is one's gaze upon the majestic view below! Seriously I was busted when I was 9: I dropped a small piece of paper, and as I watched it flutter like a moth over the wonderful fountains, I felt the sudden grasp on my sholders of the watchful tower supervisor, and was quickly escorted to my dad. I think I wasn't kicked out of the park that day, because it was 1978, and spanking by parents in public was still politically correct...
