Such appropriate music for a family waterpark.

  • Did you hear repitition of "867-5309eeeiiiine"? It'd be 8675309 if it was. That's the only song I can think of with numbers. Unless you hear everything in binary.

That might narrow it down to "Is This Love" by Survivor. I've tread those mean streets, blind alleys Where the currency of love changes hands All touch -- no feeling Just another one night stand

The Beast Lift Hill used to be the theme from Independence Da but I don't know if they changed it.

As of last Sunday it was still using the ID4 theme.

If you want a soundtrack, I'd vote for pretty much any song from the "Flashback: Totally 80's" song list.

Touchdown, who is a child of the 80s and grew up on that music... no wonder I'm screwed up.

^ Ah it's okay, I'm never gonna give you up.

at least hes not driving to there and singing the song "one night in bangkock", or leading the way and dancing in his car to "freezeframe" & "the safety dance" while the followee thinks that he is rollercoastering in his car.

I hear "How to Save a Life" by the Fray on pretty much every visit. I also hear "Ready to Roll" by Jet Black Stare almost every time I wait in line for Diamondback.

I heard "you found me" by the fray, while in line for Flight of Fear

Inside? The queue video wasn't playing?

Hey guys!

Hate to bring up an old topic, but wondering if anyone knows of the song in Boomerang Bay (I heard it at Carowinds, but they're both Cedar Fair) that says something about a one night staaaaand--it sounds very 80s...let me know!

Thanks for the reply, Thrill_Biscuit! That's not the one--a man is definitely singing. There may be some line that says "you got a number, yeah you got a number". Let me know if you know of it. I'll keep looking as well...ugh.

Great, timeless pop tune by the lads that brought us "Eye of the Tiger" and "I Can't Hold Back."

I have a question now - I remember a song being played at Soak City this summer; it was all instrumental and was just a guitar solo pretty much the whole time; but it sounded tropical and was very upbeat. Anyone know of this?

I don't know who lays down the stax o' wax at the Splash, but I think what you're describing could be anything by "The Rippingtons" or "Spyro Gyra," who have some awesome instrumentals that sound tropical... there are a lot of them, though...

Example:

"Breathe" by The Prodigy in Invertigo

I've looked through literally every Rippingtons song. I don't know about Spyro Gyra. But I've been trying to figure it out since I went back in May. I guess it's not a very popular song.

Like I said, it has nothing else but guitar playing; I think. Argh!

Was it "Tropical Storm" by Lee Ritenour? There's also a piece by Joe Satriani called "Surfing With the Alien," but it's heavy metal sounding. The only other guitar instrumentalist of wide appeal that I can think of is Eric Johnson (of "Cliffs of Dover" fame). He might have a tropical sounding piece in his repetoire as well. Happy hunting! -Tb

Actually, Cliffs of Dover does sound a lot like what I heard...I will check it out.

The variety of music sucks! I was waiting in line for Drop Tower, and I must have heard Right Now by Van Halen at least 20 times.
