CedarPointer Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Next year it will be Snoopy on Ice. And how do you know that? I'll be there if I can. Quote
Guest TombraiderTy Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Why does everybody just assume that Nickelodeon will make way for Snoopy? Quote
CrashOverRided Posted August 16, 2009 Author Posted August 16, 2009 Next year it will be Snoopy on Ice. And how do you know that? I'll be there if I can. I was chatting with a Usher at the show. I asked her if it would be ESOI next year she said no, it will be snoopy next year. Quote
CedarPointer Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 And how would an usher know? Does she also work at Dippin' Dots? If anything, it would be Snoopy's Big Bow-Wow. (Isn't Endless Summer the same as Snoopy's Summer Vacation was at CP? I noticed the "Cedar High School" prop...) Quote
CrashOverRided Posted August 16, 2009 Author Posted August 16, 2009 Why does everybody just assume that Nickelodeon will make way for Snoopy? LOL. i didnt assume anything. Quote
The Interpreter Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Why does everybody just assume that Nickelodeon will make way for Snoopy? Everyone doesn't assume that. Too many do. UFS is not all that different from Viacom...you wanna use the doggy, you got to pay some bones! Quote

Nope. ok my mistake Snoopy's Summer Vacation is same as ESOI . but yes your correct it would be Snoopy's Big Bow-Wow. Quote
CedarPointer Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Snoopy's Big Bow-Wow is a horrible name, but a good show. (I really didn't want to know how big Snoopy's bow-wow was...) 1 Quote

CedarPointer Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Good Time Theater is a former IMAX theater. In fact, you still walk through part of the IMAX while going in (preshow?). Note that the ticket stub on ESOI's prosceneium arch says "Beaglemania- Good Time Theater- Aug 2006". Also: Quote

The Interpreter Posted August 16, 2009 Posted August 16, 2009 Indeed it was. And quite the theater it was in its day.... Quote
Winterfestguy Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Some wish that Endless Summer on Ice would finally End and restore the great variety shows like Graveyard Shift or School of Rock back to KI - that will probably never happen. But since Scobby-Doo had to hang up his skates forever on Sunday, my bet is to watch for "Snoopy Rocks on Ice" to come to KI next season (which opened new this year at Dorney Park, and Cedar Fair typically likes to cycle some shows between parks). Gordon Bombay Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Why did Scooby have to hang up his skates? Quote
rotag Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 my real question isnt why did scoob hang up his skates, but why did yogi have to after last year? Quote
CedarPointer Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 Because Scooby is far more popular than Snoopy AND Yogi, AND he's through a seperate licensing arrangment? Quote
rotag Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 yeah, but they didnt have to make a lie'r out of him. cause scoob never stole pic-a-nik baskets until this year. that was always a yogi thing. 1 Quote
CedarPointer Posted August 17, 2009 Posted August 17, 2009 That scene makes so much more sense to me now that you say that. 1 Quote

Yes, but Scooby (and Shaggy) always had the munchies (for some reason ), so it makes sense for him to take a pic-a-nic basket... 1 Quote
