Ah, yes, the big finish. The last few seconds of your ride. Some coasters have it, giving one last huge thrill (or sometimes even a better one than the rest of the ride). Some don't, they may have great sections before the finale, but then they just get lame at the end. And thus we have this poll. Enjoy.

As for me...while I loved the endings for Vortex, DB, and FOF...one coaster simply kills them all when it comes to a big finish...

Beast's Helix! Especially at night. In this fairly recent KI Documentary "Riding History to the Limits" (you can look for the link around here somewhere), before Beast opened it was "test rode" (without brakes!) before the finale, and were so scared by it, that they had brakes installed before this point because they were afraid the train would explode out of the tunnel. Though the original brakes they had installed in '79 were less noticeable than what they have now...

Makes me wonder...what that might have been like...

Enjoy the poll.

And if you don't like polls, why did you click this section!?!?

Well i picked Beast for best finale even though it bit me. And i think Invertigo has the worst one. You go up and slowly come down the hill. Its too short to have a finale :D

I think the best finale is on The Beast!!

I think the worst finale is on Adventure Express because it gets you hyped up and then... nothing! :) But, I still like AE, just not the ending. Also, the God statue things can get annoying.

It's close for me. The Beast's helix or Diamondback's splashdown. I'm going to give the helix the edge though because it's exciting in all seats, whereas the splashdown is the best in row 16.

#1: Diamondback. The airtime and fast straightaway. Woot.

#2: The Beast. So much more could have been done with the speed of the second lift instead of just going back to the station. At least a few hills...

Flight of Fear's my favorite. That double corkscrew ending is great.

Now imagine that double corkscrew without trims...

Now, I bet if The Beast was trimless everyone would love it (even more)

There's two corkscrews?

So your saying the final hill is the ending? I cannot find a better helix or anything better on any ride then The Beast's final helix, even if trimmed it is the most incredible things ever.

CedarPointer.....AE's final is cool..... YOU WILL NOW PAY FOR WHAT YOU SAID! NOW YOU WILL PAY!

Yes, they have done some work obviously on AE, it now says Now You Will Pay, and it seems like the statues are more lit up and less of them have missing pieces or maybe it just seems that way

With in the past 2 years they have fixed the "Evil Stone God" at the top of the ride. So that he dumps "hot coals" on riders, along with cutting a hole at the top of the tunnel so Sunlight shines in making the guy at the top lite up even if a light burns out. The "you will pay" spiel inside the tunnel wasn't working until halfway through the season.

and IMO AE has the best Finale ;)

Beast's ending is probably the best but some of my other favorites...

Flight of Fear, I love that last corkscrew.

Vortex, that helix is the perfect ending to a great ride!

TOPGUN, I love how much you swing going into the brake run!

Son of Beast, I like the turn around near the end, especially in the back seat you get some airtime diving down.
