1st row on beast is a great view and ride. You have to try it.

As for fof, I dont think it really matters since its all kind of dark in there. I prefer either the back or the front on Fof, but I usually just take the middle when the lines are long.

On Flight of Fear I like to sit in the back, you get more whiplash going through the second half of the ride with what little speed you have.

On Beast? Normally I like to sit in the second to back. It's a coaster standard: Back of the train = more forces.

But on special occasions (First / last ride of the season, at night, etc...) I like to ride in the front. It's a longer wait, but boy is it worth it. What a wonderful journey in the front, it's like the ride is all to yourself.

The Beast is a toss up for me. I love the very front seat, the views, going through the tunnels, everything about it. But also I love the second to back seat, car 6 seat 2. It like was mentioned, has the amazing pull over the lifts and speed and with not being on the wheels is a much smoother ride then the very back.

On FoF after riding it many many times from the back, I use to always ride it back there before I really knew the route because I could see ahead to the front of the train the elements that the ride was going through. Now I have to say, when the lights are off, in the front seat it feels real out of control with no sense of direction.

On The Beast, I prefer the front. While I am normally a back of the train fan, I have never gotten air time on The Beast. What I have found is that when I am sitting in the front, going up the lift hills is quicker as the front of the train is almost 1/4 of the way up before the chain engages. I also don't feel the trims biting as hard in the front as I do in the back.
