Jasper Posted November 2, 2009 Posted November 2, 2009 Blog Read the Entertainer auditions section and look at the dates. Out beside them it has the character auditions. Quote
Beast79 Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Good grief the only thing they would have to do is throw a shirt on me and draw and swirl on my head and I could pass as Charlie Brown! Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Apparently I'm too tall to be a character. Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Perhaps that kind of character.... Quote
BoddaH1994 Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Perhaps that kind of character.... Yeah, but my stand up act wouldn't go over very well during park hours. Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 That's okay, you are still quite the character! Quote
Jasper Posted November 3, 2009 Author Posted November 3, 2009 I don't think me being 6'4" would get me to be a character either. Besides, I don't wanna go around the park all day with a football being pulled out from underneath me. Quote
touchdown62 Posted November 3, 2009 Posted November 3, 2009 Hey, if Brian can pull off Snoopy, anyone can! <----------------------------------------------- in honor of Planet Snoopy coming in 2010. Quote
StalkerChick Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Thankfully Finally!!! they have auditions more than just the week right after Haunt. My voice is always so shot to do auditions, but with it being the 13th-15th i might actually have to give it a go! wish me luck!! Quote
mtl2013 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 ok. I was thinking about auditioning to be one of the peanuts characters, but I have a couple problems. one. I am 15. Being this age comes with puberty. I am 5'5" as of today, but I am quite sure that by the time the park would open I will be at leat 5'6" or 5'7". two. I would like to work at the park, i know the characters, and i am very enthusiastic, but have no acting experience. This being said, should I not even bother auditioning, becuase I am supposed to have a resume. Any opinions? Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Everyone has to start somewhere. If you don't try out, you will NOT get the job. If you want it, you should try. Quote
mtl2013 Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Haha thanks. thats what I was thining, and thats what my dad said. I'll probably try it. I still dont really know what to put on a resume though.. ? Quote
The Interpreter Posted November 4, 2009 Posted November 4, 2009 Your name, education, desired job, address and phone number. I'd say email address too, but I am not sure Cedar Fair has that computer thing down pat yet. Honesty is always a good thing, and before your first job, there isn't much to tell. Quote

Jasper Posted November 4, 2009 Author Posted November 4, 2009 I just received my first job in September working here at Kohls, all I put on my application was my name and address. I had no other employment experience so I did not put any. I received the job thankfully and now I have a building block to start on. Quote
