Avatar
Sean Hannity has announced his freedom concert series for 2010 which includes a stop at Kings Island on Saturday, August 7, 2010. The Interpreter
The best seats at Great Adventure are already SOLD OUT! https://freedomconcerts.com/jackson Other seats remain available, for now! Same story for Cinci! Someone needs to let Hannity's people know it is not "King's Island."
teenageninja
Ugh.
Avatar
Thanks Interpreter, I checked last night to make sure it was Kings Island and on my link it listed Kings Island as the venue. Both my link and your link do not work at this time, so something is up. I have not attended one of his freedom concerts but know some who have and they loved it and said it was well worth the money especially knowing it was going to a good cause. I would hate to see Kings Island not getting his concert back and if it is in fact moved to another location, then a moderator needs to move this topic to Off-topic or delete it altogether. Diamondback FOF
Both links are working for me right now. I could buy tickets.
The Interpreter
That was not my point. It was working for me then and still is. But "King's Island?" What King owns that island, anyway? Terpy, somewhat possessive of the English language
Diamondback FOF
I know what your point was. I was just letting Avatar know the links are working for me. Also, even the site has the address as being on Kings Island Dr. while listing the venue as King's Island.

CedarPointer
horrible idea. Hmm?
Beast1979
No matter what your political views, if it brings in nickels you shouldn't be complaining.
The Interpreter
Actually, far more importantly, it brings in hundreds of thousands of nickels for a very good cause.... And one need not agree with Sean Hannity on anything (and heaven knows, I agree with him on virtually nothing) to support this wonderful cause. I first did this at Great Adventure many years ago, long before Kings Island was added to the itinerary...
Beast79
I'm planning on going this year! Yes it is for a very good cause, proceeds from the revenues go to the Freedom Alliance.
CedarPointer
I'm pretty sure the park was more crowded for the 2009 Freedom Concert than it was for the Wallenda walk. It seemed that way, anyway. And I didn't even see any line jumping that day!
buckeyemaniac
I'm pretty sure the park was more crowded for the 2009 Freedom Concert than it was for the Wallenda walk. It seemed that way, anyway. And I didn't even see any line jumping that day! The guests in the park that day were by far the rudest I had ever had to deal with. His family was also apparently an absolute delight to escort around the park
CedarPointer
I still love how he asked who had ridden the Drop Zone. Somewhere in Sandusky, Dick Kinzel shuddered.
Beast1979
It's Dick Kinzel. I'm sure what Sean Hannity says is of very little importance, the fact that it's Hannity is good enough for him.
XGatorHead 8904
Further Freedom Concert Charges: Sean Hannity’s Freedom Concerts have once again come under fire for allegedly fraudulent activity. http://www.pollstar.com/blogs/news/archive/2010/04/02/716831.aspx While this is not the forum to discuss politics, this article covers an event that visits Kings Island and is therefore relevant. A group is alleging that only $4 from each ticket sold goes towards the Freedom Alliance scholarship fund.
