How far do you live from the park?

Featured Replies

I think from here in Richmond Ky. to Cincinnati is about 120 miles. It usually takes me about an hour and a half to two hours to reach the park. Well worth the rive though I must say.

I didn't take the time to look, but i think its between 100 and 200 miles. Lima, Ohio. Right between KI and CP its great

I used to live a walking distance from the park but I have moved so Now I live about 10 miles or so east!!

Google Maps says it's 5.9 miles to KI for me. It also says 11 minutes, which is typically about right... although I have made it in 7 minutes several times, depending on how I hit the lights and traffic!

Just like Gator, I'm a hair over 5 miles (garage to gold pass parking) and 7-11 minutes depending upon upon Tylersville Road traffic lights.

According to Yahoo Maps about 620 miles...slightly over 9.5 hours drive time. Currently live in the Kansas City area but grew up in Columbus so KI was my "home" park if you will. Haven't been back to KI since 2003ish.

I've never measured in miles, but I've gotten there in 2 hours 15 minutes. I'm going to try a new route this year that will hopefully take a half-hour off my drive time.

According to Bing 360.4 miles, 5 hr 36 min. However the time is highly variable depending on traffic on I-29x and I-80/94. I drove most of it 8 times last year with only one trip to KI thanks to the bad weather on Thursdays in October.

Time: 3 hrs. 43 mins.

Miles: 220.82

But go figure Geauga Lake's Wildwater Kingdom is 15 mins and 9.94 miles away, and I go shopping at Walmart that is less than one minute away from the park...

I live about 15 minutes away; my grandparents live like 1 minute away so that's awesome =)

Sometimes I take the back way (the hilly roads, I don't know what the name is) and most of the time I take I-75. Both take about 15-20 minutes.

Google says 23.3 miles and 31 minutes, so it's a decent drive, I do wish I lived closer.

According to Google Maps I am 135 miles away. It generally takes just under 2 hours but that does not stop me from making trips a couple of times a month.

I am 38.7 miles away. Depending on who is driving - me it takes 45 minutes but my husband makes the trip in 30 minutes lol. Clearly we know who has the heavier foot!

Interesting to see how dedicated folks are to an amusement park. I do not go as often as I once did but during Haunt I do not miss a night!!

According to google maps, I am 99.5 miles away. I can usually get there in about and hour and 45 minutes.

I am probably 38.2 miles. :) about 40 minutes from here in Elsmere, KY. Not too bad, but i wish i lived closer.

52.9 miles away, according to google maps, but it says it takes 54 minutes to get there, but it took less time than that for me to get there when i lived about 15 minutes south of where i do now.

2.8 miles away. Can Usually get there in about 5 minutes, but takes about 45 minutes to walk home when you lose your keys on Firehawk.

40.0 miles exactly. 46 minutes on a good day.

Takes me 5 minutes to get there by Car. About 30-45 minutes running. Yes I have done that :)

Right at 128 Miles driveway to driveway for me. I can be there in about 1hr and 45 minutes on a good day! Now that I hear 275 is done, I can hopefully save 3 or 4 more minutes of time.

Mapquest tells me I am 13.91 miles or 23 minutes away from the park.

175 miles and a little over 3 hours from Fort Wayne.

I have never minded the drive though...actually I'm usually having so much fun I miss a turn or two.
