Jasper Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I think from here in Richmond Ky. to Cincinnati is about 120 miles. It usually takes me about an hour and a half to two hours to reach the park. Well worth the rive though I must say. Quote
Guest KINGSISLANDMASTER Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 I used to live a walking distance from the park but I have moved so Now I live about 10 miles or so east!! Quote
XGatorHead 8904 Posted January 6, 2010 Posted January 6, 2010 Google Maps says it's 5.9 miles to KI for me. It also says 11 minutes, which is typically about right... although I have made it in 7 minutes several times, depending on how I hit the lights and traffic! Quote
KIfan1980 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 Just like Gator, I'm a hair over 5 miles (garage to gold pass parking) and 7-11 minutes depending upon upon Tylersville Road traffic lights. Quote
pi_kapp_shack Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 According to Yahoo Maps about 620 miles...slightly over 9.5 hours drive time. Currently live in the Kansas City area but grew up in Columbus so KI was my "home" park if you will. Haven't been back to KI since 2003ish. Quote
touchdown62 Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 I've never measured in miles, but I've gotten there in 2 hours 15 minutes. I'm going to try a new route this year that will hopefully take a half-hour off my drive time. Quote
luff Posted January 7, 2010 Posted January 7, 2010 According to Bing 360.4 miles, 5 hr 36 min. However the time is highly variable depending on traffic on I-29x and I-80/94. I drove most of it 8 times last year with only one trip to KI thanks to the bad weather on Thursdays in October. Quote

Jason B Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 According to Google Maps I am 135 miles away. It generally takes just under 2 hours but that does not stop me from making trips a couple of times a month. Quote
Karen Posted January 10, 2010 Posted January 10, 2010 I am 38.7 miles away. Depending on who is driving - me it takes 45 minutes but my husband makes the trip in 30 minutes lol. Clearly we know who has the heavier foot! Interesting to see how dedicated folks are to an amusement park. I do not go as often as I once did but during Haunt I do not miss a night!! Quote
